[QUOTE=just_grindin;52551101]If you are playing GTO you could show your opponent your entire strategy and it shouldn't make a difference. The best the other player could do is play the other half of the strategy set.

So as long as you are playing GTO and you wait until all betting has ended you can show your hand and nothing will change.

Not really sure how much people knows about "GTO" at $7 and $15 HU hypers
I believe those guys that show their cards are just having fun and just want to brag.

You posted your question in the Poker Theory forum. So, naturally, most of the replies have dealt with "theoretical" aspects of your question.

If you want to specifically discuss the pros and cons of showing hands in HU hypers of a specific buy-in range, you should post your OP in the 2+2 forum dedicated to strategy of that type of tournament.

I show all the time when I play (I also drink a lot, is drinking with some mixed frequency gto?), but you have a pretty awful understanding of gto. If you're actually playing gto, your frequency of showing is irrelevant. But you're probably not playing gto, so there's two options:

1. your opponent is worse than you, in which case you can intelligently decide which times to show to manipulate your image.

2. your opponent is better than you (at least at interpreting you showing), in which case every time you show you're losing ev and you should never show.

It makes sense
