Re: Run It Twice

Thanks for the replies Wheeldraw and AKQJ10. I am now even more convinced that bad players like me would suck even harder at this format than with standard holdem.

Anyway our bad 60% c-bet got called and here's the turn...

Js Th 2h Ad
Qh 5c 6c Jc

Mods, is there any way you can move this thread to other poker, or do I just have to put my original post in the poker variations thread? If so, please can I have a link as I can't see it?

90% of the draws got there and we're in trouble even though we improved. We no longer are bluffing, but we pretty much have the high end of a bluff catching range.

BTW, I think there's a lot of value to processing a made-up variant like this. It helps us appreciate how to adapt our game to known variants.

Re: Run It Twice

Thanks for playing along with this AKQJ10.

We decide to check fold the turn. However, our opponent tanks and just checks behind.

The river cards are...

Js Th 2h Ad 5s
Qh 5c 6c Jc 6s

Would you check fold again?

Re: Run It Twice

I like how there are fewer unknown cards in the probability calculations. So, if one board is full of bricks and you have a big draw on the other, hello pot odds.

I'd bet/fold, but i tend to vbet too thinly and value town myself in pretty much every game, so take it with a grain of salt.
