I am not sure if the thread is in the correct place, but I couldn't find a place to put it.
So I am currently playing 2 tables of zoom poker 6 max, and my question is, How many regular tables do I have to play to play the same amount of hands per hour as in 2 tables of zoom?

Thanks in advance!

Have you never played non-zoom poker?

Well, that's not helpfull. And of course i've played regular tables. But I was wondering how many tables would I need to play the same amount of hands per hour than 2 tabling zoom.

divide the # of hands you can play on 2 zoom tables in 1 hour with the # of hands you can play in 1 regular table/hour, ffs.

OK, so get out a pocket calculator and figure it out? Say you can play 300 hands/hour on 2 tables on zoom. Also say you can play 80 hands/hour on a single table of regular. 300/80 = 3.75 so you'd need to to have 4 reg tables. I totally made up these numbers, I have never played zoom on PS and it's been a long time since I even played regular holdem online.

No one can tell you that, for one simple reason:
The number of hands per hour at a regular table depends on six players and you are only one of them. At a Zoom table, the number only depends on how many hands you play.

A 14/11 player will get in way more hands than a 40/30 player at Zoom.

^ the tight player folds more = more hands
the loose player, plays more hands so it takes longer and less hands

well yeah, but a tight player can also play more regular tables at a time

Which has nothing to do with the question, really, since he just wants to know many many regular tables are equivalent, not how many he could feasibly play

Bump

I dont currently have the stars client on my computer.

Does the above figures sound accurate (300 hands/hour zoom and 80 hands/hour non-zoom)?

I thought it was slightly lower but are we in ballpark?

I literally pulled those numbers out of my ass.

If you want to know, just go do it? It'll take 1 hour and you were probably going to play poker anyway?

300 per hour for zoom is about right as it happens. So 600ph for 2 zoom tables.

You don't even have to play. PS lobby gives you average hands per hour per table. OK there will be some variation drowning in your vpip but you can get an approximation in about 30 seconds.

Judging by the numbers people have posted it takes around 3-4 tables of non zoom to play the same number of hands as zoom then.

So how many regular tables does one need to equal 4 tables of 6-max Zoom?

100 h/h regular
250 h/h zoom

that's the average

1 zoom table would be 2 and half regular tables so

4 zoom tables would be about 9 to 10 regular tables

zoom sucks for your game if you're not great imo
