Although I enjoyed reading Applications of No-Limit Holdem, I think it would be easier to apply the theories in the book by using poker software. Does anyone have tools they like to use to help them visualize theoretical calling and defending ranges? Not sure if investing in a tool like Piosolver would be best or if a simpler software might be preferable. I am posting here in hopes of finding players who enjoy developing their game by learning about GTO strategy and have a knowledge of what resources might be helpful to better understand GTO.
I do not mean to suggest there is only one optimal play in all cases. I am hoping to better understand the best potential options available when looking at HHs or evaluating my play live. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.
If you liked 'Applications', you'll probably love Janda's new book, as it features analysis drawn from software like Pio and Snowie.
I've not yet got/read the book, but I think software is great. A book plus software is likely to be even better.
If you want the best possible play your looking in the wrong place my friend... GTO will give you the safest profitable option, but not necessarily the best.

+1 and if the table requires you to go GTO maybe find another table.

Thanks Arty, I will pick up Janda's new book. Been considering investing in piosolver and pokersnowie to work on my game. Definitely on the fence if I should get these tools now since I am building my BR currently. If I had the option to play online I'd probably have bought them ages ago
