Question about All In EV Question about All In EV

I have a doubt about AI EV and would like to know more.

I was on the turn, oop, with straight and villain had two pairs. Villain bet with something like 40 bbs left and i raised him but didn't pay much attention on his stack size. He called me and stayed with 6 bbs to the river. On the river i shoved and he called me the remaining 6bbs with full house. Right after the hand i felt i had made a mistake.

By my understanding, assuming that the pot on the river was 100 bbs if i had shoved on the turn instead of just raised, the AI EV would be +90 (equity of my hand). Just shoving on the river, which is the AI EV?

Am i losing/winning value regarding EV if i do this kind of things? If, for example, i'm favorite and called in all streets, i lose value in terms of EV if i have a b/b/b line instead of b/shove?

I am a little confused by the way you write, but if both you and the villain would have gone all-in either way so it doesn't matter which way you play it. So I wouldn't worry about it.

If your talking about tracking software, it calculates the EV when the money went in, so on the river when you put in 4 you would have lost just 4 on EV.

No, on average it doesn't matter for All-in EV whether you shove those 6bbs on the turn, or river. It will however be more accurate, if you shove turn.

Always play your hand as well as you can, AI EV results have no bearing on it. AI EV may be of some use in analysis about how to play but always try to bet the perfect amount to extract or save the most value.

Perhaps in your hand you should have put in the extra 6bb on the turn but this is not due at all to AI EV. You should have noticed the villain's stack, realized how committed and you having a great hand tried to get max value. Hitting a bad beat doesn't matter, the actual result doesn't really matter only how well you played. If getting it in slow makes more in the long game do so.

You played badly not noticing the stack values so learn from this.
