Possible leak, want advice

I play $2/$3/$5 no limit at my local casino (for those not familiar, this means a $2 blind on the button). I have a habit of making a big raise on the button with ATC in a multi way limped (or occasionally raised with multiple callers when the opener is raising a wide range) pot in an attempt to take down the pot preflop when I view my opponents as weak tight. I try not to do it too often to seem obvious, maybe once every 3-4 orbits, given the right situation.

It works very often so it seems to be +EV, but I haven't been diligent enough to keep track to know for sure. I have also lost medium sized pots in situations where I will raise to something like $35 from the button after a few limpers with something like 92o, get one caller, then make a continuation bet of say $50 on a dry board, then get called or raised, after which I go into check/fold mode.

Does anyone with experience in these kinds of low stakes games have any advice about whether or not this kind of play is good strategy, given weak-tight opponents?

It all depends on your opponents and how often your getting called. The problem is that a lot of these players limp with really strong hands like AK, AQ, 99, TT, etc. which they are obviously never folding to a preflop raise.

My advice is to keep doing what your doing, except don't do it with absolute garbage. Do it with hands that have potential like a 78s or A4s or something like that, because 1/3 of the time your gonna catch a decent flop that you can continue double barreling and not go into check/fold once you get called. So stop doing it with hands like 92o.

If you do it about 25% of the times you should select best 25% of hands to make the move, no reason to do it with 92o (and even if you do it 60% of the times you get into this spot, there is no reason to do it with 92o)

Every 3 or 4 hands is still way, way to much imo, although the strat is ok if they are letting you get away with it, must be terrible weak/scared money in play if they are. I run in to types doing similar to this all the time at 1/2, 2/3 stakes at my local and will limp/jam on them a lot of the time with a varied range, knowing they are willing to put out 10bb to steal limped $, but are only calling the 70-100bb jam with <10% of their range they are doing this with if they are fully stacked. Does stop them doing this after i jam on them the second or third time most of the time, but i have already picked up 30-50bb of dead money by this point and can only remember twice getting called and beat for a 150-200bb pot out of the many times i've done it. Not that it really helps with your question, but this may give you a guide as to how villains can react to this strat if over used.

always leave yourself outs, 92o and comparable garbage do not work in this spot.

Whenever you make an adjustment, you should be aware of its visibility and the frequency of the adjustment you are carrying out. If you exploit a weakness too often, eventually players will re-adjust to you (even if live players at these stakes are bad, it takes one person at a table who has a decent competence at poker/intuition to realize you are light and start 3-betting you light, or to call and c-bet the flop, to mess up your win-rate/confidence/strategy).
