You guys are giving waaay too much credit to PokerSnowie team.

Why do you think they are good enough to create GTO bot? Or even try to improve it that much that they collect all hands etc?

So far it seems to me it's just a program with ton of fake marketing to grab some quick cash from donks.

If you read this thread through its obvious some of the posters work for snowie. No joke.

Don't play 500nl Zoom, but I can see two Monetenrego players playing 4 tables and one playing 2 tables, which I would guess are Pokersnowie trained players, which are playing at the moment.

Yes it has to be them. There can't be other Montenegrins people who play poker.

From what I can see, Pokersnowie can beat microstakes easily, dunno for higher stakes.

What/where/how do you see this? Please be specific.

All the players from Montenegro, that I have encountered at 500nl zoom tables, are probably using snowie. You can tell it from their preflop sizing. Don't know anyone else who opens utg, mp and co for half pot and btn for pot. I have no idea how well they are doing though. A friend of mine said that they are losing but I can't confirm that.

Given their marketing strategy do you actually believe they're winning/doing anything impressive using snowie and they haven't bragged about it or posted graphs?

Just beat Snowie heads up for 91 BB/100 over 1,136 hands FWIW. I'm not a good poker player at all.

I was playing straight forward for 200 or so hands and was down 4 buy-ins. Then I just played like an aggro-donk, playing every hand, 3-betting 100%, betting all 3 streets often and overbetting rivers a ton. And I started crushing. The more aggressive I was, the easier it was to beat Snowie as it clearly was folding way too much.

I don't think Snowie bluff-raised me a single time before the river. This is obviously such an enormous leak as to render it totally useless even for microstakes...

I played snowie hu. For 2k they can have the results as well as the strategies/adjustments I employed and how I think it could improve.

we should introduce a sample size measure to poker: 2k$-is-enough-for-everyone == 1 zachvac

you now played 0.04911 zachvacs - i would think there is still hope.

THIS.

u guys shouldnt be supporting them.

Snowie likes a fold w/ 22-33 from the HJ when folded to 75 BB deep. Seems weird. Not earth shattering obv., but that (just a weird random hand) seems bad. No?

Snowie could easily be off here of course but if for the sake of discussion we assume Snowie is approximately GTO then I would say said strategy is still probably pretty bad against your generic opponent.

I say this because I'm guessing that your typical real world opponent will play poorly enough post-flop against your 22/33 (especially when you flop sets) such that you make up for the tiny preflop mistake. So the "exploitatively wide" opening range is going to usually be worth it imo.
