Hi,

I just filtered my calls vs shortstacks preflop all in shoves.

When I am BB, my EV winrate is 35bb/100.
When I am SB, my EV winrate is 100bb/100.
From other positions, it's higher than 100bb/100.

I think this means I am too tight in these spots, doesn't it?

Am I wrong pretending that :
From BB, if I call the optimal range, my EV should be slightly better than -100b/100.
From SB, if I call the optimal range, my EV should be slightly better than -50b/100.
From other seats, if I call the optimal range, my EV should be slightly better than 0b/100.

?

Hey,

your EV should only be close to 0 with worst hands in your calling range. You will always call with AA but you should never call with hands that lose you money.
