Opening size in Turbo Heads UP

Hi
Lately I identified 3 different trend in HU Turbo SNG.
1. Opening to 2X.
2. Opening to 3X.
3. Switching between 2X and 3X.
My default is a 2X open, but I would like to hear about the merits of the other sizes (and mainly about the switching strategy).
Thanks

Stack depth has an effect (typically use smaller sizes when stacks are relatively short), but you can also deviate from your defaults to exploit a particular tendency of your opponent.

Hello,
I mostly play heads up reg sngs.
I utilize a 2.5x open size from effective big blind 75 to 50, minraise with bb 25 to 50, and limp/shove/fold anything under 25 bb. I will occasionally mix in a minraise w/ a polarized range.
This may not be the best strategy but it's worked out for me so far.
*The size of the raise isn't really that much smaller in proportion to your stack when you look at the difference between a 75bb 2.5x raise and a 30bb minraise. I would not recommend swapping between a 2x and 3x raise strategy the same blind level in hu, as it becomes unnecessarily difficult to balance.
**As for limping w/ under 20bb, if you're raise/folding with garbage hands it becomes extremely profitable for your opponent to 3bet you light. I see this common mistake heads up with a lot of players.
