A lot of people on 2+2 have sticks up their butts and attacking OP for no reason. Go OP! That would be cool if you won the WSOP so all them mean 2+2ers bow their heads in shame. I hope it happens.

Reason: not sure on my calculations, but it is < 1, > 0...
Thanks Mike C.....The point I was trying to make is that if you have a hand like 89 spades and the flop is 6-7-2, you are much more likely to get paid off if the turn is a 10 or a 5 then if the turn is a third spade. Overpairs are very weary when flushes make it, but they don't seem to have the same ability to lay down overpairs when a straight makes it.
One other small thing as well: If you decide to make a move on a flop with a flush draw, you are more likely to get called. People will often put you on a draw if you make a big raise on the flop with two of a suit. In my history it's been easier to get away with semi bluffs on the flop if there is no flush draw.
Anyway, I'm in Vegas for the World Series and I wish everyone luck....
thanks for sharing your strategies/tips op. it's stuff like this that this sight is for.
for the nay-sayers. wtf man. even if you disagree, just disagree. why try to shame a guy into never sharing on this forum again just because you think he's not as advanced as you.
I don't personally see the value in limping with big aces in early position I think you would get less value out of your premium hands & out drawn with too many people in the pot. I have seen many people employ this strategy in the smaller games & it does not take long to catch on. You may rake the odd pot, but imo you lose value in the long run. Doing it on occasion to throw the table off isn't bad, but I definitely wouldn't employ this strategy on the reg.
