First off I refuse to accept that this thread don't belong here "because its not holdem". Its poker and the question relates a lot more to online chat than the fact the hand is PLO8.

If you haven't a clue about PLO8 here's what you need to know to help you answer my question

-Basically I potted preflop on the button with AA24 which is the 2nd best hand u can be dealt in Omaha 8 (although AA24 with suitedness is better)
-Although its pretty much the 2nd nuts preflop you'll rarely be better than a 40% favourite
-In Omaha its fairly easy to outflop aces
-The reason I potted was more because I had good position than a good hand, but having a great starting hand and the nuts position is the best spot preflop to be in

Now onto the question:

Everyone folded according to the hand history. But the final player timebanked before doing so. I had been betting the pot on the flop regardless of my hand a high % of the time in position after raising pot preflop and this player had seen me do it on numerous occasions.

When he timebanked I knew I really wanted him to call. Hoping he could understand English I elected to type "You know I'm gonna bet the pot on the flop if you call".

My thinking here is that assuming he understands the words he may think I want him to fold by suggesting that he will face another bet no matter what on the flop... when really I want him to call, especially after he timebanks.

So my question is what is the best thing to say in this situation to entice a player to call?

There's no requirement here to post about holdem

However, this seems like something more suited to psychology than poker theory.

Kinda depends on the person.
Online, some people just don't read the chat or don't speak english so it doesn't matter what you say in those cases.
I don't really talk online but I do live, and here's a few classic lines to get people to call:

Just say "I have an excellent hand" In the most dead pan way you can. No one will ever believe you.
Give them a fake read. Like if you think they have top pair and you have an overpair (in holdem, not omaha), say something like "I have your pocket 7s crushed." Or "Oh looks like you missed your flush draw."
Or the obvious "You should probably just fold." That just makes them think "Oh he wants me to fold, I should call/raise."
Sometimes after a bit of that I go to the next level and say stuff that makes it sound like I want them to call, because they will assume I really want them to do the opposite, and therefore will do the opposite of that, which is what I said I wanted them to do. Yes, that sentence made sense.

Or, another alternative is just say something completely random. Like, something that has nothing to do at all with poker. "My toe is itchy." "The Mets suck." start singing 'Shine on you crazy diamond.' Whatever you feel like. I think in a lot of really weird situations like that when people can't really figure out what's going on they might be more inclined to just say 'eh screw it, I call.'
