Help with developing a game plan?

So I learnt that having good basic non-read dependant default gameplan is pretty important even in stakes like 50nl.
So what i mean is having somewhat balanced default plan to play, until you start seeing their mistakes and making adjustment.
My question is how to systematically go about developing a gameplan, can anyone give me some guidance?
e.g. do I study some ranges first (e.g. bvb, btn v bb, 3bet pots IP), and design my postflop ranges accordingly? e.g. in a bvb single raise pot on this board texture, I'll c bet x% of the time, check call y% etc.
If so, how do I go about doing this SYSTEMATICALLY, i don't want to just learn random things in no particular order (e.g. one day i want to study 3 bet pots, another day i study that)
Where should I begin in building a default game plan?

I'm currently reading/studying Janda's applications on NL holdem. He covers the theorie of almost everything from preflop to check raising river. I think reading this book and using it as a workbook after every chapter is your best bet.

I think a good way to go with it would be to start with preflop ranges, devise a general strategy for each position. Also devise ranges for hero opening UTG vs CO 3-bet, CO open vs BB 3-bet, etc.
Once you have that down, study hands you've played and construct ranges for each hand. Eg. check/call, check/raise, bet/call, bet/fold ranges in a manner that you're not leaking too badly in any direction. Rinse and repeat.
This is actually what I'm doing right now. Plan is to build a solid foundation.
Oh and get flopzilla. And save your preflop ranges there.
