Just thought I'd share a spreadsheet I made which shows different ranges depending on which buttons are pressed. Not sure if there's a better section or not. It's basically an easier way of using charts than equilab or something because you choose position and action instead of looking through a list. It also automatically shows you combos and percentages and greys out any impossible ranges.

Only things that need to be done manually are entering the ranges which are done with the premade grids.

Top row of buttons are your position, middle is the action and bottom is villain's position.

No 5bet or multiway ranges because they're pretty situational, if you look at the vba you can probably figure out how to add it if you really want.

Hi,

your tool seems very nice. Thanks for sharing.
where did you get the ranges from?

No worries, those are some old ranges I made based off of w34z3l's. Some ranges are hands I always play whereas some ranges are a choice of hands to play. I don't use them anymore and they're far from optimal, more of a placeholder really

Edit: Tbf, they're not that bad. The blinds are the worst, but also the most situational so meh

good stuff man thanks for sharing, I would have like to do the same for push/fold or other short stack stuff but I'm a fish in excel. how can I adapt it? which part of macro I have to change or use? I mean you put all the range in a sheet and then what kind of command do you use to search for the right situation?

There's a number in A1 that changes depending on the buttons pressed. When a button on the bottom row is pressed it searches for the value of that number, but only in the columns that line up with the number next to the grids.

So if you want to add ranges you can make A1 change to a number that isn't already used and then copy/paste a new grid *underneath* a pre-existing one with the new number. Either that or change the labels on the buttons and just edit what's already there.

Vba is really straightforward, it literally tells you what it's doing. Try going through the code step by step if you want to know more
