Losing with flushes and 2 pair hands really isn't a big problem. If the fish wants to limp/call a super wide range in an attempt to flop a monster its totally fine for us.
Raising any 2 is a very bad idea. Any half decent player will 3 bet very wide and scoop our raise a ton.
Op, I still raise the majority of those suited connectors and pairs. The junkiest of those can be limp alongs. In FL my requirements for an iso raise are a pip higher than my opening range from that position. But in NL you can go a couple pips lower cause you can exploit further.
