Re: Can someone give me an exhaustive list of all flop possible in texas holdem plz thanks guys

Some months ago I took spadebidder's flop categorizations of all 1755 flops (I changed it a little by adding some flops to the dbl gutshot flop class by including all flop classes where a double gutshot draw is possible).

With the help of propokertools author we came up with a way to quantify flop wetness. If you count how often the best hand on the flop loses the hand by the river, for all possible flop types you can get a measure of flop stability and the result looks like this:

Awesome post. Had a few questions just to make sure I'm reading it correctly (sorry, kind of new to thinking seriously about poker theory so anyone can answer if I'm just being dense):

With KA2 dbl-cnct; the "dbl-cnct" is referring to how it can make both broadway and the wheel, right? What's the difference between "other 1-gaps" and "dbl gutshot"?

Are these both correct examples of the following flop types?:

Pair+cnctr rainbow: 8d8h7s
No cnt/gap/pr rainbow: Qh7s2d

Also, I'm interested in calculating how many combos of each flop type are possible (since certainly there's more pair+cnctr rainbow flops than there are 3-straight flush flops) -- I feel like this would go a long way towards being able to govern things like c-betting frequencies, where you could say "OK, we're going to bet the top X% of dry flops vs. one villain, the top Y% (where Y < X) vs. 2 villains or if we're OOP, etc." Any thoughts on an easy way to do this?

Yes double connector means two ways to make a straight.

He names flops with 1gap-1gap pattern 'dbl gutshot' 4s-6h-8c where I also include flops with 1gap-3gap (ex: 46T) and 2gap-2gap (ex: 47T) pattern in this class because a DGSSD is possible on this flops too.

Yes they are. You can find examples of each flop type on spadebidder's post http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/15...-flops-633448/.

You may find the frequencies of each flop type in the spadebidder tables:

So we're playing with a 3 suited deck? No spades anymore? There goes Norman Chad's favorite card.
