Damn, I had just posted a lot of text and it logged me out without posting anything lol. So will just do bullet points to make it quicker -
  • Stopped playing poker back in 2013 due to personal issues which I don't want to discuss on here.
I was beating 5nl for 10bb/100 and 10nl for 6-7bb/100 over roughly a million hands (A rough estimate since I lost all my data and it was ages ago)
Moved up to 25nl with 120BIs and was roughly breaking even over 100k hands I think before the personal stuff started.
Started playing again last week, starting from scratch at 5nl even though i'm rolled for 25nl, just want to prove to myself I can still do it I guess and i'm a bit rusty lol.
Only played 7.5k hands, just been taking it easy with longer breaks etc until I get the hang of it again.

My stats for the 7.5k hands are:

23VPIP/16PFR/5.5%Pre3bet, Cbet 71% and 12bb/100 so far. I know it's not a big sample, and I can't remember if there are any other important stats to post? But how do they look so far? I'm rusty remember lol. I'd like to get my PFR closer to my VPIP but I like seeing flops and I tend to defend my BB with a wider range since i'm confident post flop. (No idea how to put a pic of my PT4 stats on here, terrible with technological stuff lol)

Any tips/help would be much appreciated, and if anyone knows if zoom micro stakes poker has changed in any way since 2013 please say so, thanks

Sorry if I've posted in the wrong section, I have no idea how to use forums etc, first time I've ever posted in a poker forum. Any questions, just ask since I probably missed out some stuff from the previous post that got deleted lol.

If your taking 12bb's home your doing something right mate. In zoom you will want to play GTO pretty much, and so those stats look ok. Perhaps close the gap between calling and raising pre-flop, and 3bet more. When you move up, if ur playing the same games, that will be more important.

If you've been away I suspect you will want to get in on the new software. Pokersnowie is real handy for GTO. I'm sure these other guys will know other ways to improve your GTO game. I'm an exploiter myself, and so I stay away from those games and I don't know the pool of players there.. I don't care for the software either.

You might try the beginners forum or microstakes NL forum. I think your VPIP is fine. You might be able to VPIP slightly more. You should close the gap with your PFR. It may be OK at 5nl if people are more passive and you can get into MW pots. At higher limits you'll probably get squeezed more making some of the spots you are calling right now unprofitable.

I think your cbet % is a little high but again probably OK at your stakes. Higher stakes you'll probably want to cbet a little less.

Thanks everyone, I will have a look at pokersnowie

I wish I could remember my stats from 4 years ago, can only roughly guess but i'm sure that my VPIP/PFR got closer when I moved up to 10nl and again at 25nl, I know my 3bet and squeeze % did. Probably not close enough when I played 100k hands at 25nl since I broke even. It's one of those things I needed to improve back then and obviously haven't been able to. I'm definitely rusty though lol.

I try and play the opponents, not the cards, bit difficult with playing zoom since its new players every hand but that's one of the reasons i've always preferred zoom - it's a lot more fun and also a bigger challenge which I seem to thrive on. The more I enjoy playing the better I seem to play lol.

Anything else about zoom that has changed since 2013? This is the main question for this topic hence why I put it in poker theory lol, thanks
