Post 4bet on the flop after 3bet which was aginst our cbet

Sorry for the name but I don't know how to describe it

... and sorry for my terrible language i hope U'll understand me ;P

So.. I have one idea, i tried it 8 times and always i won. I know that it isnt big probe but i hope you will give me some tip. Ok, now i show You it:

Hand History for Game 7436552024

0.10/0.25 Texas Hold'em Game Table (NL) - Tue Oct 07 16:00:55 EDT 2008
Table Table 126493 (Real Money) -- Seat 1 is the button

Total number of players : 6
pataran (CO)
HotBlondi18 (BB)

** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to HotBlondi18 [ A :s , J :s ]
neinicol folds
pataran calls 0,25
Nineball99999 folds
HotBlondi18 raises to 1
pataran calls (0,75)

** Dealing Flop ** : [ 8 :s, 8 :c, T :d ]

HotBlondi18 bets (1,25)
pataran raises to (3)
HotBlondi18 raises (7,75) to 9
pataran folds.

I'm player who often use cbet so players who observe me can make 3bet on the flop after my cbet. Ok lets see above example. I have one limper on the preflop. He plays loose and agressive preflop and he is agressive on the flop too. I raised AJ on preflop and he called. On the flop i made 3bet and he made mini 3bet so i made big 4bet, he folds.

The perfect situation to play it:

- opponent play a lot of hands
- opponent is loose player
- opponent is agressive on the flop
- flop is safe

All the times when i made this trick i won, opponent thoutght for quite a while and gave fold. I think this trick demonstrate a lot of power we raised preflop next we made bet on the flop and lastly we made big 4bet. I know that this trick cant be use so often.

a little math

- Raise on preflop: 4bb
- Flop: 1/2 - 2/3 pot (cbet - around 5bb)
- 4 bet 31 bb

cumulative cost: around 40bb

Cost trick: 31bb

- Call opponent: 4bb + 1,5bb (blinds)
- opponent mini raise on the flop - around 12bb

cumulative benefit: 15,5bb

So the cost of our trick is 31bb and the benefit 15,5bb now then we can lose 1 time to 2 wins. I think this is a very good situation, given that this trick show our opponent big power we failed only when he has very good hand. What do U think about it? I can past more exaples if You want.

Re: 4bet on the flop after 3bet which was aginst our cbet

4bet blah blah, flop, blah blah WAT?

1) There is no 4bet in this hand. Bet, raise, 3bet on flop.

2) Your math is bad, you can't calculate it as if you were raising preflop only to bluff, or cbetting only to 3bet (sometimes you flop a pair or smt, and win a showdown). Your reraise costs 7.75 to win ~7, so you only need to take it down ~50% of time to break even

3) The play itself is good, since he rarely has a hand when he raises your cbet on this board. Don't do it too much, no one wants to get into a guessing and leveling game where villains shoves over your 3bet, and you level yourself into calling AJ high.
