It means they pay taxes? They already have a huge target on their heads due to the nature of their work. I doubt the Full Tilt team, as a whole, doesn't pay taxes.

Kind of stupid to bring up Ivey and the other FT pros here. Why single them out?

Regarding ALL US players, this is just one example of tax evasion being uncovered. In this example the IRS may not have been aware that money was being hidden and unreported at this specific bank before the whistleblower let them know. In the case of the major poker sites the IRS is almost certainly aware that people have taxable events on poker and other i-gaming sites that go unreported. (This could be under reporting or neglecting to file the FBAR report if your balance is high enough.) You can bet that PS and FTP will happily open up their records to the IRS is it makes a difference in receiving a license to operate in the US sometime in the future. I doubt Ivey, et al are cheating on their tax for the reasons Vonlego outlines above. Joe FlushChaser is another story.
