Two Plus Two Tournament Results Forum FAQs and Common Topics

Welcome to the Two Plus Two Tournament Results Forums, this is the place for Tournament Directors to post the results of their respective tournament s and to answer questions from the Two Plus Two Community. This forum is unique from most other Two Plus Two Forums because only verified Tournament Directors or their designated staff can start threads. If you are a tournament director and you would like to get permission to start threads in this forum please send a PM to the moderators Matt Savage or Shaun Deeb and they will be happy to help coordinate access to the forum.
We will try to take a very liberal view on acceptable sub-topics in this forum provided the sub-topic is specific to the tournaments themselves and the discussion remains socially acceptable (meaning you can’t say something offensive that wouldn't be tolerated if we were all sitting around a poker table in a card room). Additionally the following list below are topics that are off limits while posting in the Tournament Results Forum:

1. Underage gambling. Relating a story of how a friend of yours did it and almost got arrested is fine, if it's informative/entertaining. However, asking about how to get away with underage gambling or what the punishments are for doing so or any other question/point that's been made 1,000 times before is NOT ALLOWED. If you have a question about a state’s legal age limit I recommend you consult this very effective list at I. Nelson Rose's website.. The name of the game is patience, in both poker and life; if your underage its best to wait until you get older. Its a decision you won't regret as you get older.

2. Bad Beat Stories and brag stories ARE NOT ALLOWED. The BBV forum is the perfect place for this!

3. The Tournament Results Forum is a troll free zone. We ask that you treat your fellow posters as if you were sitting next to them in a casino. If you are unable to do that you will be sent away as if you were in an actual casino.

4. For your safety the Tournament Results Forum does not allow threads asking for help in transferring funds between players. This includes online poker room to cash conversion requests. If you need to do this we suggest you try the Internet Poker forum, they have a dedicated thread just for this purpose - but it’s wisest to only make transfers with people you know and trust in real life.

5. Opinions on the validity of tipping (aka tipping politics) are forbidden, but questions about the size of tips are permitted. If you don't like the culture of tipping or if you think you shouldn't ever have to tip then its best to keep it to yourself, don't post your opinion in this forum.

6. The Tournament Results forum cannot be used as a bully pulpit as a means of revenge against the policies or actions of a cardroom, dealer or Tournament Director, any disputes with a room's staff and allegations of cheating need to be brought to the room management's attention and that management needs to be given a chance to remedy the situation before someone can post the details in this forum. It is only after management has had a chance to resolve the issue and has not done so that a poster can give full details in this forum but we request that you send a PM to Matt Savage or Shaun Deeb first to assure the topic is acceptable before posting. Please respect the fact that the Tournament Directors who participate in this forum are invited guests of Two Plus Two Publishing.

This list will change/grow/disappear as needed. Violations of these rules may result in threads being locked, warnings, suspensions or bannings as the moderators see fit.
