I was head up and deep in another tournament? What just happened?

mine just shut down too...

They just shut down all my games too

6 tournys just all shut down at once

more like 30 tourneys

I need some explanation why the payouts don't add up here. There were two people left and the remaining prize pool wasn't paid out completely.

Unfortunately there was a server issue that caused several tournaments to be shut down. All tournaments have been refunded as per the following cancellation policy terms and conditions. I apologize for the inconvenience.

MULTI-TABLE TOURNAMENTS: If a Tournament is cancelled because for technical
reasons, any players who were eliminated prior to cancellation will lose
their buy-in and entry fee. Remaining players will be refunded:

All remaining players will be refunded their entry fee

All remaining players will be refunded their buy-in and the total amount of
refunded buy-ins will be subtracted from the remaining prize pool.

The remaining prize prize pool is then distributed amongst the remaining
players: 50% distributed equally and 50% distributed based on stack size at
time of shutdown.

The numbers will not add up here because of the buy-in and entry fee being refunded separately. Once you add that amount to the total it will be exact.

Honestly, it wasn't a big discrepancy in money, but I received less than 2nd place money with 2 people left.. To me that just doesn't make any sense.

The Merge tournament team is currently investigating this particular issue. As soon as I hear back I will make sure to contact you directly.
