This was a weird hand. For some reason, I couldn't see my cards. Just the backs, like it was a villian's hand. I saw the flop for another quarter, and then I just couldn't resist myself. I didn't know what I had until I looked it up on HEM. The first hand I've ever played blind

I have went through probably the worst variance (against me) that I have ever experienced. I get that variance is going to happen, but has anyone else experienced a seemingly ridiculous amount of bad beats?

I'm going to look at my HUD stats to see if there's a way to measure variance that has went way outside the statistical norm.

Yes. Just play through it or take a break. Part of a player's win rate is mitigating the run-bad losses as much as humanly possible.

Had some unusual situations (beats) and just want to make sure before I continue playing.

Haven't found any posts regarding this issue (to be fair)
