Really????? So why start tournaments if halfway through "scheduled" maintenance is going to occur? Oh, because that's a load of BS. Will the RPM reps here admit there was no scheduled maintenance? I doubt it.

Not going to agree with this. The way merge handled the last issue of refunds with the lag. I don't know for certain that Merge will indeed refund everyone their money.
So the question remains - was this actually a scheduled outage as the client says, or did something happen to cause them to shut the site down? If the former, how come there was no notice? If the latter, they're lieing through their teeth calling this scheduled maintenance. And, as usual, their minions are nowhere to be found to answer this simple question. Except apparently surferick.
it was scheduled. there were popups like every half hour all day yesterday saying as much..they moved some tournaments and changed some structures too
It definitely was scheduled. I purposely didn't run any sessions last night because of this. Still it blows chunks that they are running tournaments at that time. Make that end.
The software was offline for several hours last night for scheduled maintenance. Pop-up messages were displayed within the client in the hours leading up to the down time. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
