It's unfortunate that the launch didn't go smoother than this, but once the hiccups are ironed out it should be great.

Once again the @MergeGaming twitter account can be followed for status updates, and your continued patience is very, very much appreciated.
Agree with this curious why they took out 2 things

1) Mini-Mode -> Lived in it... was awesome use of screen space
2) Being able to look at Pos/Players left from your table... having to open lobby is super inconvenient when your multi-tabling

Just because I said I liked what I saw while I was playing don't think I'm not at all frustrated that the site has basically been down all day long. I even used my flex day from work today to play on the new software to basically have a wasted day.

Edit: good thing we dont play for money to pay bills n ****, that would really suck

(this msg is not directed towards RPM, yet all of Merge as a whole)

Will we be given an opportunity to make up the 300 point bonus's we missed today? I took the day off work to play, expecting a 6 hour delay while I slept, and have been waiting all day due to being told repeatedly that it was up only to be down again.

I bought into a 20 dollar ST and never got sat at a table, but it was debited from my account. Not gonna go crazy over it, def gonna give Merge some time to straighten everything out.

The old software was great, I loved to play on Merge, but I just don't see giving this new software a try. Mini-mode was my favorite, and you could just click the buttons on the bottom for half pot, two thirds pot, or 3/4 pot and everything was just so smooth. Now if you want to bet 2/3 of the pot you have to figure out in your head how much that is and then go to the trouble of typing it in if it is not an exact increment of the big blind. When I am at the tables I want to spend my time thinking about how the other players are playing, what their ranges are, what lines I can take to exploit them instead of doing crap like this. Now I only have those buttons if I enlarge the screen and I can't play more than 4 tables at a time that way. Also, the timebank feature in the old software was great, it would just pop right up when you were low on time and you just clicked the timebank button if you had a tough decision. I don't see the equivalent feature on this software. I'm sure it is available somehow, but the point is that when you are rushed with a tough decision you shouldn't have to figure that out in the middle of the hand whereas the old button just said "timebank" clear as day so there was nothing to figure out.
Add to this that I have to go to the trouble of upgrading to new poker tracking software if I want to play on Merge, when I am really happy with HEM 1 (I doubt they will release an update to HEM 1 to fetch the hand histories). People tell me to just buy a faster computer so I can run HEM 2 on it, but I really don't feel like buying a new computer or switching to PokerTracker just so that I can play on Merge. I wish you guys would have given us a choice in this software update because Merge was my favorite site with the promotions and all, and I play there even though I am non U.S. Now it is off to Poker Stars again! Your software update should make your users' interactions with your company more enjoyable and stress free but instead you are forcing upon us changes we don't want and then have the arrogance to tell us "Trust us, when the bugs get worked out you will love this." How do you know that?
Please in the future concentrate on helping the customers who want change in a way that will not totally alienate those of us who thought you were delivering a great product and service already. There were alot of us who liked what you were doing and didn't want any changes.

No. 4 hours ago they said it would be about 2.5 hours, then they extended it another hour and a half to 2:00am EST (15 minutes ago) and then they bumped it again to 3:30am EST. GG Merge.

I mean, RPM is a great company and Merge is OK for post BF software....However, the Merge Network has been told for 2 years to fix their rebuy tourneys to allow for double buys, auto rebuys, etc. and they havent been able to do this very minute task. Software upgrade? 6 hours? I wish I would have known about it before it began. I would have moved the line 10 hours, laid 80:1 and taken the over!

Please add the option to auto-post when at the table, not just in the main settings. Thanks.

This update could have been so good if Merge would actually involve poker players and testing in the design and development.

As is, some of the new features are cool, but at the expense of losing some of the old cool features. Overall I'm not impressed and would rather have the old software back.

Just brought up a couple of cash games (my regular games/stakes at which I've been using HEM 2 without any problems for a while)... It just says "waiting for hands" and never loads my HUD... also, none of my hands were imported. I even tried to manually import the session, but it didn't work. In my hand history folder there was a xml for today's date and each table I played, but when I manually uploaded these, HEM 2 said it uploaded the files (2 out of 2 files) but didn't upload any hands.

Any help on this matter is appreciated, as I really need to use my HUD/record my hands right now, as I'm reviewing my play regularly and also trying to get a good sample size recorded. I never had any problems with my HUD or with hands importing before this update. I'm using HEM 2.0.0.6866 -- Thanks!

P.S. Also... where is the hand history (at the tables, for right after a hand)? I used to be able to click on it in the lower right corner, and see the action + what villain had if we went to a showdown. I can't find this anymore.

HM2 - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...AutoUpdate.exe

P.S. we are also working on a the cake preferred seating fix in HM1 but the first checkin for that is still a bit buggy so it is not included in the 04Jun link above.

Also you might have to manually import your hands again after installing the update.
