I requested the withdrawal at the end of november. Was approved on 1/20.

I was about to deposit on RPM, but this is unacceptable. As if waiting 7 weeks for a check isn't bad enough, to be told the check is not good is intolerable.

Waiting for legalization...

This was a Merge-wide issue, and only a small handful of RPM players were affected. Merge has informed us that your next withdrawal will be prioritized and sent out in the next batch.

Re: RPM Poker Withdrawal Thread

Seth -

Has Merge contacted everyone on RPM who has been affected?
I cashed a check on 2/3 and I've already started to spend it. I don't want to end up owing money to my bank.

From looking at the Carbon thread they are having the same, exact problem.

From what I can tell from the Carbon thread (just now), the problem is only with the second to the last batch of checks that went out. I'm hoping that since my check was with the last batch, it will be good. *fingers crossed*

However, I think it's terrible that I got better information by reading Carbon's withdrawal thread, than from here at RPM's. The Carbon reps are taking a lot of heat from their players, but they reply and keep their withdrawal page updated with (what seems to be) the latest Merge information. I am disappointed with the response here to the player who first posted about this problem.

Re: RPM Poker Withdrawal Thread

Everybody who had an issue has been contacted. If you have not been contacted, you will not have a problem. To reiterate, this only affected a very small handful of RPM Poker customers, and all of those customers were contacted quickly and directly.

If you are unsure if you have received an e-mail or not regarding your check, please don't hesitate to chat in live via the RPM Poker homepage or send us an e-mail directly.

Waiting for legalization...
This has been happening since 2006, and on every online poker site that ever served American players. It's not all the site's fault. The same people you're waiting on to "legalize" poker are the same people who created this "unacceptable" situation. Just an FYI, to each their own...

Thank you. I feel better hearing this.

This has been my first cash-out by check. Within the last week I've read about this problem, and also about two different people who couldn't get their large well-established banks to cash their checks.

I get stressed about the money.

It looks like Seth prefers to address problems in personal communications, and that reps on other sites post more frequently concerning problems in their withdrawal thread. It's fine with me that there are style differences in the customer service at different sites; but in this instance, as a concerned observer, I like appreciate the public way that the Carbon reps have been handing this.

Bad checks? This is a very bad sign, especially given the news of what just happened to Everleaf

Re: RPM Poker Withdrawal Thread

Could somebody tell me if "manual approval required" is the standard message everyone sees in their player admin->transaction history when withdrawing. From what I read this was normal for people who did not verify their accounts, but I got an email already saying everything went smoothly as far as that. Also, it just says "pending approval" in the cashier window, which is normal I guess.
