Re: RPM Poker Suggestion Box
I played around with it a little bit for the first time last night, and I'm sure some of these points have been mentioned already, but here is what I would like to see worked on.
-A feature that remembers your preferred seating. It is rather annoying to have to set it each time you sit down at a table.
-Make the amount you enter equal the total size of the bet or raise. The major sites (Full Tilt and Stars) do it this way, and I think it would make the transition to a smaller site like this much easier.
-While playing in a tournament, when you click the lobby button, it takes you back to the main lobby. I couldn't find an easy way to get the tournament lobby for the game I was in, straight from the game.
-Cash game sorting, when I choose to sort the games by stakes (I assume this is what most people do), it would be nice to have the games sub-sorted by type of game (HU, 6max, FR) and then the number of seats filled in each. It appears to be completely random at the moment, with play money games sporadically mixed in as well.
Thanks for listening

Re: RPM Poker Suggestion Box
Mgodd, thank you for your feedback. These are things we have also been lobbying for. Good to know that you (and presumably others) feel the same way.

Re: RPM Poker Suggestion Box
RPM poker could distinguish itself pretty easily with a decent hand history reviewing tool, I for one would be very pleased with it. It is something the other poker sites are also bad at at the moment. The History tool as it is now is not very usable for session reviews, you'd have to look through every hand. What you want is a table with 4 columns: gameno/starttime; cards; amount won/lost; link, where the link takes you to the hand history. Would love it.

Re: RPM Poker Suggestion Box
Is there any way to view average stack size when in a tournament? If there is, I can't figure out how to do it. I think this is something that would be pretty crucial to add, if it's not there already.

Re: RPM Poker Suggestion Box
Coming from stars, my RPM experience so far after a couple weeks is okay. The software is positive overall.
Based on my little experience so far there seem to be a lot more loose players, which is a plus.
What is not okay is the hand history reviewer, there is no readable HH available for use in forums, so its very hard to review sessions or store interesting hands etc.
The main problem however is the small user base. When I play there are only about 3k players online, give or take 1k. It is still possible to join a ringgame table at the stakes I want, without having to wait too long. But the small userbase, like less than 2% of stars, is worrysome. Makes you wonder how long the Merge network will still be there.
It is very surprising since their rake is lower for uNL and small stakes, because of the rakeback. This doesn't attract much more players, so it seems that many are just uninformed. Maybe they dont realize it, or maybe they dont care. Show them how much rake people pay on sites like stars, like in the order of magnitude of $500 when playing 15k hands at 50NL. Perhaps they will care then.
The market just doesnt seem to work for pokersites. All sites take a comparable high 5%rake, aiming for much too much profit. Cartels in pokerland? Why can't Merge go down to just 2% rake and attract all players already.

Most players don't pay enough attention to rake that dropping the rake is going to increase the player pool. Sites like wpex had 100% rakeback for awhile.. then 75%.. and they are really struggling for players. It's all about name brand and marketing... attract the fish and big player pools will follow.

Re: RPM Poker Suggestion Box
Sometimes I want to click on the Fold Checkbox, but miss it, because the real Fold Button has appeared in the meantime, annoying!
The Fold checkbox and the Fold button should have an overlapping positioning.

Re: RPM Poker Suggestion Box
We definitely hear all of the suggestions regarding the hand histories, as it's something we've been lobbying the network to change as soon as possible.

Re: RPM Poker Suggestion Box
Hey Seth, ltns. The only suggestion that I can think of that I haven't read yet is that the lobby updates are pretty slow. I play at the HU tables and it's been the case where I'm sitting and the lobby hasn't updated in a while. Usually, unchecking the filter box and reapplying forces a refresh, but this isn't consistent.
Other than that, hope the cashouts are smooth, need money for a house soon! Hope all is well.

Re: RPM Poker Suggestion Box
You better hope because I am waiting for the cashout via moneybookers for 5+ days now and the worst thing is that you can't withdraw more until previous withdrawal is over.
