What's the new VIP system? As far as I can tell, I am getting points but I can't use them in any way. Making it kind of pointless...?

You should be able to use the VIP points (the current points system, comp points were the old one) to exchange for cash... but if you have rakeback, the points might be useless as some rakeback accounts are ineligible for points-to-cash bonuses. I was able to do it on Carbon though, and I had rakeback, but i know some people couldn't.

The points-to-cash exchange should be in your player admin, but it's harder to find now that they've changed the cashier (there used to be an exchange tab in there).

Ah, ok this is interesting. I never had comp points, I joined after the new VIP system was in place. RPMSeth set me up with a "30+10" account, so I had rakeback, and I was supposed to get an additional 10% in the form of VIP points exchange. When I first joined I had a tab in the cashier window that would let me exchange 10k VIP points for $100. Now there is no way to exchange my points at all. That tab is gone, and there is nowhere else I can go to exchange the points.

If anyone has any idea what is going on, please let me know.

You should be able to do it if you open the cashier, scroll down to the bottom and click Player Admin, and on the side panel under Your Account there's a "VIP Points Exchange".

This should be the page you're looking for: https://secure.rpmpoker.com/vip_points_exchange.html but you probably have to login first to see it. Mine doesn't have a button to actually exchange points for cash (it just shows my total VIP points/VIP status etc) but that may be cos my account isn't eligible for those bonuses.

Yeah, I can get to that page, but I have the same problem. I do have over 10k points in my account, so I should be able to exchange them. But that page just gives me my balance, it doesn't allow me to do an exchange.

My bad, I did actually get a response from support a couple days ago. Somehow I missed it in my inbox until I went through this morning to clear it out. Here's the response I got:

Please be informed that the VIP Points exchange page can be found in your Player Admin. You can access it on this link:

https://secure.rpmpoker.com/vip_points_exchange.html

However, at the moment, you are unable to exchange your points for cash. Please be assured that our developers are working on this matter and should be fixed as soon as possible.

Some way to see the average stack in a tournament? Maybe in the info section, since right now all it has is how how many players are left.
02-09-2010 , 12:57 PM
I jumped on last night and like most of what I saw.
One thing off the bat I had an issue with is like when viewing a tourney lobby the prize window is too narrow and I can't read all the info. Tried to resize it but couldn't get it to. Maybe it’s just me?

I like the tourney info being on my table window as I normally run a separate lobby window down in my screen's corner to keep track of certain info.

IMO I'd liked to see current blinds removed. Next level and time till is great. The break is ok. What I like to keep track of is. Players remaining, my position, average stack and chip leader.

For any site in general I wonder of some sort of “custom folder options” can be made for monies available. Just to simplify bank roll management as one could make a folder for say SnG BR, mtt BR, cash BR.

Bug the PT guys to get their program working since HEM now does.

Again I liked what I saw and with some other sites not allowing RB on existing accounts some of my money will be on RPM.

Thank you for your suggestions, they are heard. Enjoy playing!

suggestion: track slooow players. They are ruining the game for others who do not want to multi-table. If they are way too slow, take action plz, e.g. player KeeenZ should have his timebank removed :-)

Anyone have issues with RPM suddenly crashing on you?

Yeah I've had it happen twice now, thankfully I wasn't involved in any big pots, but man I'd be heated if I was.
02-16-2010 , 01:12 AM
Yeah i've been lucky enough to never have it happen during big hands, but i'm sure eventually it will.

I like the site, but I have found the interface kind of difficult to use for betting. When you click the bet slider, it automatically goes to where you click it (so like you bet half your stack when you click half way) and it increases by like 1 minbet (I think) when you use the + button.

I think it would be convenient if there was an option for the bet slider to increase by 1 bb when you click on it, like on Stars and FTP.

maybe making it so that people can make custom tables.. or at least have different looking tables.. maybe something real simple like a black background/table.

Also, maybe a few extra small freezeouts? I know there is a $5 $250 guar at like 1:45am et.. but (and I just looked through the lobby real quick) all the other micro's I've seen are rebuy/addons. Maybe a $2 r/a $200 guar. and/or a $5 $250 (maybe a 6max ) at 6 or 7pm.... or something smaller along those lines. Not the $3 all in or nothings, just regular freezeouts.

I just wanted to point out to the marketing department that they have gotten the attention of the micro FR forum with their latest ads.

Not in a good way.

Real ad on 2+2. Thought I misread it the first time. Just about as good as marketing Nova poker in Latin America.

This is a massive fail.

I don't get it. I mean it's a little weird that they'd mention that in the ad thinking it'd boost business, but Full Tilt is also licensed by the KGC, so i don't see why it's a big deal.

It's not always common knowledge that smaller rooms are licensed and regulated, so we figured it would be nice to let you know that there is, in fact, a regulatory body watching over us.

I'm rooting for an RPM player to hit the BBJ too.

Fortunately, in two weeks, we won't have to discuss whether or not games are running. Network traffic is tripling/quadrupling overnight on April 15th.
