RPM Poker Suggestion Box / Improvement Thread

Four suggestions that would make life better on Merge:

1) Include Tournament Summaries with our Hand Histories! After every time I finish a session I have to go into PokerTracker and manually enter results for a lot of SNG's and all MTT's. This is a severe PITA and could easily be remedied by PokerTracker if Merge were to include these summaries.

2) Not a huge deal, but the Filters Tab should always remember the settings I left on my previous session (sometimes they do and sometimes they don't -- maybe it's an update issue?). In any case, the game-type and filters tabs need to be more intuitive to use. I suggest that instead of having Cash, SNG, Tourney, Play Money, etc. clustered under the little bar code tab, let each be in their own tab on the lobby -- you've got plenty of room along this tab to do it. This would allow the user to simply click Cash once (as it is now I have to click once to open the dialogue, click Cash, and then click once more to close it).

3) It would be great if the Real Money Ledger didn't show me every single buy-in or winning from the last month (or whatever ridiculous length of time is now the default setting). It takes forever for this page to load. Maybe if you set the default to only show the current day's ledger it would move a little faster. This is how the old Player Admin page worked, and the new system is much harder to navigate. The best way to do it, IMO, is to have a drop-down box for Month, one for Date, and one (God, this would be special) for filtering by table or tournament ID. This would streamline the Ledger immensely.

4) I've mentioned it in this thread before, but I'll mention it again, because I think it's of utmost importance. The SNG Leaderboard needs to be refined. Yes, high-volume grinders need to be rewarded, but the way to keep the Poker Eco-System healthy is by stocking the pond with fish, not sharks. Currently you reward only the highest-volume players and the "Streakers." The fish get nothing unless they happen to win 6 or 8 SNG's in a row, which is extremely rare.

I suggest a two-fold leaderboard system that would make everyone happy. Keep the high-volume leaderboard as it is, only take away the streaker multiplier. And instead of having a streaker bonus, use this money pool to restock your pond! The best way I can see of doing this is to have a separate leaderboard which awards prizes to the players who have (by whatever formula) placed highest over a certain number of games, maybe 20. This would be a much more achievable goal for random players, and would keep them playing if they think they're going to bink the top 20. And where does that prize money go? Right back into the community, keeping both your grinders and your fishes happy.

I shouldn't need to tell you that once Lock gets their **** together or U.S. regulation comes you're going to have trouble keeping the mass-multi-tabling SNG grinders on your site. Your rake is high and your structures are lackluster. But if the eco-system is healthy many players will stay.

they didn't magically start making you lose so they could take your money

regardless, i suggest you do one of two things: 1) take your whining to the Rigged Thread in the Zoo or 2) or go to the Probability Forum in General Gambling where someone will drop some knowledge on you about the fact that being massively below EV is effectively meaningless in the grand scheme of things

i've run as bad as that if not worse i'm sure at some point in all the time i've played online poker. it can happen, will happen, and will happen again. just deal with it and make sure you're not tilting

but you did indeed imply what my post responded to with regards to these "crooks" who "changed the RNG" and i can just as well tell you it is blatantly false because i played seamlessly through the upgrade and my run-bads and run-goods are all relatively the same as they were before the upgrade

well put, havent made near as much post upgrade as before but i know this is because of normal variance and i will start making good money again soon, just takes time and not a lot of tilting

A few more gtd turbo rebuys at around 12-2pm ET for example would be nice.

thank you, how does merge not have a double rebuy option, its a joke i get aa first hand in reb i fold, bc dont have doub reb, its a joke or right before add on if bust can do single reb, rediculous

Can we at least get some of the seemingly small things fixed?

- If I uncheck satellite in the mtt lobby.. I don't want to see any satellites.
- Same if I uncheck super turbos
- If I set my max buyin to $10, I don't want to see a $16.50 bounty (this also applies to bounty sngs)
- Why does the afternoon $5 rebuy turbo 6max still have the maximus tables, 4.5 months later.
- If I have an $11 ticket.. I should be able to use it for any $11 tournament instead of having to pick and choose.

1. Let me withdraw via WU please Please PLEASE.

2. Let us cash tournament coupons in for actual cash.

3. The main lobby should show my current cash balance AND VIP points balance at the same time.

4. Fix the rebuys. Add an auto add-on option.

5. If I accidentally click fold when I have an option to check, I don't want only the option to fold or check after that point. There are plenty of times where I've hit fold where I really wanted to bet.

As a low limit tourney grinder i'd like to second the following suggestions stated before:

-Create a system where tourney coupons won in sattelites can be exchanged for tourney dollars or actual dollars (maybe against an exchange rate) or a playthrough bonus. Get creative, and make the system less rigid.

-The tourney King MTT promotion is good in the sense that it's divided and the points are muliplied when final tabling etc., but the award itself is just a starting stack in another tournament. Why not also reward cash prizes in addition for an extra incentive (esp. for tourney grinders that don't want to play an extra, long, tournament at what might be an inconvenient time).

-Different colour/theme for final tables.

-Double rebuy button!!!!
