I think it'd be cool if you guys added some step tournaments akin to other sites. Something where you can start out with $.50 or $1 and work your way up to a big step 8,9 or whatever. You could also have side options partway up or something, where like Step 5 is either to move on to Step 6 or you can play a different one where top 3 get seats to Sunday $50k Gte. I think something like this would be really successful and would help get the SnG community to grow.

This is correct. Sorry I was unclear. Solid color decks make multi-tabling a lot easier. Seems like this would be very very easy to implement. Should be a standard option on all poker sites in my opinion. I do like the customization available for everything else. New decks would be great.

yabbut you can't sit on next big blind or sit out next big blind on all tables.

didn't see this mentioned yet, so maybe there's a setting I'm missing. In limit games there are two "raise" options "raise to $x" and "raise any" - when I select "raise to $x", if someone raises before me it automatically assumes I want to raise again. That's what "raise any" means - if I select "raise to $x" and it is raised before it gets to me then my selection should simply be "unselected" in order for me to decide my next action.

Just opened up a merge RPM account and i like the software overall.

I'm going to post things off the top of my head when i see them.

If I am not seated at a table, it shouldn't ask me if i want to leave.

Does this make sense, i think the confirmation of leaving a table ur not seated at is just annoying.

flatten out mtt payouts. The jump from 4th to 3rd to 2nd to 1st is too much.

I agree with the guy who said the animation is too fast to tell what happened at the end of a hand. It's like BOOM then its over, and playing more than one table you dont know if the guy folded, or did he call and lose, or did I lose, etc.

Overall though the software is pretty good.

Please better SNGs... Alot of the SNGs on there are pointless and complete gambling. The 6 person turbo where everyone starts with 10bb?? Everyone's just shoving any playable hand there. Also I'm not a fan of the double up format where prizes 1-5 are all the same, but maybe that's just me. I'd really like MTT turbo SNGs like 45/90/180...I realize we don't have the players for that yet but 18 mans and 27 mans would be nice.

Note taking needs to be better and shouldn't keep you from making a decision at the table when it's open. It's a pain to take a note and then have to act when the note isn't complete, forcing you to close the window and act.

Other than that, I'm digging RPM poker and made my first deposit today with no issues. It looks like the site wants to grow based off of the quick responses by RPM guys in this thread.

ya color coding would be nice

is there any way to disable the casino?

Mini mode is much better for multi-tabling than Normal view. But Mini mode needs to interpret the action icons form normal view such as lights flashing, saying 'checks, raises, etc. underneath each player .When someone takes a while to act in mini view I often wonder if my computer froze cuz literally nothing will happen while the other player is "thinking".

8-10 Game mix would be pretty amazing. Hopefully it wouldnt be too hard to do since all of the games are already offered and available.

+1 to solid 4color deck, better action notifiers, "sit out next BB", more balanced payout structures, etc

What I'd like to see is more 9man setups in tournies/sit'n'gos. I've never been a big fan of 10man tables, and it would be nice to have the option.
Turbo 90/180 man sit'n'gos would attract some people I'd think, I prefer regular over turbo myself but they're very popular on the bigger sites.
Some kind of real money steps would be great, too, even if it just went up to a $100 ticket for the time being.
Chop feature obv, is it possible to chop at all right now? IE is it possible to call a mod at the final table of a guarantee?

That's all i can think of for now, will post some more ideas as I get in some more playing time in on the site.

Yes, e-mail support (or Seth) and they will take care of it for you. Seth disabled mine in a matter of hours the other day.

Some suggestions I've come up with since I joined the site last week:
  • Please eliminate some of your micro Double or Nothings. Right now you have $1, $2, $3, and $5 DONS. This is just too many games at similar levels. Right now its hard to get more than a few at each level going. If you eliminated the $2s and $3s for example, players would be forced to choose between the $1's and $5's and it would be possible to get a lot more going at a specific level.
  • Please show who is all in! Right now, if I go all-in for 1 chip, and someone shoves over me for a million chips, the software just shows up both as "all-in" it would be nice to see who is actually all-in and who will have chips leftover even if they lose.
  • Please move 45-man, 90-man, and 180-man SNG's to the tourney tab. Right now the 45's are loading once/twice an hour, the 90's load very rarely, and I have yet to see a 180 go off. If you add these to the tourney tab, I think they will load more often as players who are looking to play a MTT will see them, whereas they might not normally look at the SNG tab. I think for best results these should be included in both the SNG and MTT tab.
  • What is your disconnect policy? I was playing a DON the other day, I checked from the BB and we saw a flop. Before I realized what happened the pot was awarded to the other player before I was ever given the opportunity to act. I checked the HH afterwords and it said I was disconnected. If that's true I was disconnected for under a second as I didnt notice it at all. Does your software instantly give the pot to the other player in the event of a disconnect? You definitely have to add a a small disconnect timebank, even if it's only 5-10 seconds. Luckily I still cashed in this DON, or I would have e-mailed support about this. If there is literally no disconnect timebank then I will not continue playing sngs/mtt's on your site.

Thank you for taking the time to review my suggestions, and I look forward to seeing how RPM improves in the future!

I know its been talked about before. But please please RPMSeth talk to Merge about blocking ptr from tracking the site. The site should do everything in its power to protect the privacy of its customers and allowing ptr to put our results on full display to everybody compromises that privacy.

RPMSeth. When, by the love of god, are RPM going to accept Aus players.

I stake a number of players on RPM, and some of the suggestions I've heard multiple times are:

- Better filters for all games. Nothing surprising here, this has been harped on forever and I hear from support that this is being worked on. That's all I know

- Very top heavy tournaments, the jump from 3rd to 1st is very very high.

- Option to show full cards and not half cards, this was an option on PS and FTP.

- In mini mode, make it more apparent who's turn it is. The current method of having the color frame on the person who makes the action is a bit easy to miss.

- A minimum timebank of 10s or more when sitting at a new table. Again this has been brought up many times but I wanted to chime in.

Thats all I can think of for now.

PTR doesn't track the hands currently but they have announced that they will be tracking the hands on Merge in the near future. Wasn't sure if you were aware of this and just wanted to let you know thats why they are discussing it ITT.
