RPM Poker & Your Funds RPM Poker & Your Funds

06-29-2011 , 10:05 PM
Hi folks,

This is just a reminder to let you know that your funds are always safe and secure on RPM Poker.

Player funds are not used for any operational expenses. RPM Poker is fully licensed and regulated by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, and has a license pending approval with the gaming commission in Malta. Your money is your money.

We are happy to continue to provide our players the high level of personal service we are known for, and as always, remain committed to the needs of the poker community.

Best,
RPM Seth

EDIT: Merge Gaming has received a license from the Malta Lotteries and Gaming Authority; it is no longer pending.

First.

This will be more believable when you start getting checks from your door to our door on a consistent basis imo

Is Merge going to start paying people in a timely manner? No reason to play if there is withdrawals will take forever.

I'm assuming you are aware we all think the Kahnawake Gaming Commission is a ****ty regulatory body to licensed by, right? The fact that you're getting a license in Malta is encouraging though. Why not the Isle of Man?

Thanks Seth, despite the above posters this does make me feel a little more confident with you guys. May I ask though, what IF you guys got indicted though? Would you be ABLE to process all US cash outs, or pull a Full Tilt?

The license from Malta is very encouraging IMHO. They require all funds remain segregated.

Also, the KGC is a joke anyway. Not that it means anything negative towards RPM, but getting licensed in Malta would be much better.

Yeah definitely. Malta seems a lot better than KGC X 1000.

What measures do you have in place if the DOJ issue a indictment or you lose your license to keep the players funds safe?

good **** rpm

Here are some possible reasons why:

Because you like giving money away?

You like play chips that are backed by cash!

Money does not mean much to you.

And that

I see there is now an LGA logo listed on RPM's site so I assume they have the license now. The Kahnawake logo is still listed also.

Seth, could you hold a straight face while typing Kahnawake Gaming Commission?

To confirm, RPM/MERGE segragate players funds?

It's all good and dandy that funds are help in separate accounts, but if you guys never payout whats the difference?

In before this post is deleted like all other posts that dont praise RPM

"never pay out" is an untruth.

there are many posts that "don't praise rpm", and they're not deleted. that statement isn't true. players are already anxious and insecure without having to read lies that compound the situation. there's lots of people in the payout threads who have gotten money. have they gotten it in a timely fashion? no.

that's dfferent from "never paying out".

Waiting 7 weeks now... and yes they do delete posts that don't praise RPM. They deleted every post that asked if their money was safe after some of the smaller sites got shut down as well as others. Now go away shill

What have you done to check the situation, rpmjon is on in 4 hours, seth will be on shortly. No complaints without checking. Are you verified? Your thread is still here isn't it .. guess that delete crack is pretty meaningless. Idiot.

They deleted those because Seth has routinely stated this is not a place for rumors or gossip. After they were deleted he stated it again. They have stated player funds are safe(whether they are or not what do you expect him to say and why would he answer this every day?)

For people to ask every time another site has some type of incident must be frustrating to Seth. He's working hard trying to help players with their issues and doesn't have time to answer the same questions 2-3 times a day when he has already answered these questions and their is no more information that he could provide other than what he already has. If those posts weren't deleted we would probably still see the same threads popping up a a few times a week, atleast. There is nothing else Seth can really tell you other than what he already has. That's why they were deleted, not because someone spoke bad about RPM.

I know your getting frustrated waiting for your money, but I'm sure if there was a fix they could implement, they will as soon as they can. Unfortunately, it seems it isn't so easy to do. You should be angry with the US Gov. they are the ones that are making it near impossible to get funds moved on Poker Sites.

how true you speak! i was terrible disappointed when i stopped playing on rpm. i like this site, but i couldn't justify spending the time any longer when it looked shaky getting some $ for my effort. so glad now i feel like it may be worth it again. congrats to all who got their belated checks and cards finally!

Just noticed something. I see RPM has the LGC logo on their site but lotteries is spelled loteries. Is this an official button? Did LGC make that mistake? Maybe they spell it like that? RPM made the button? Does this even matter? Am I looking too into things? DID WE REALLY LAND ON THE MOON?
07-13-2011 , 06:32 AM
The LGC button on RPM does link to the Malta Gaming Authority, but Lotteries is definitely misspelled on that button. Quite strange if its an official Malta LGA link button.

Any update on this Seth ? Is RPM/Merge licensed by Malta now ? Are player funds held in identifiable segragated accounts (not quite the same as not being used for operational expenses) ?
