Increments, probably 10 or 20 at a time. I think all their bonuses work like that.

What is the rakeback % equivalency of all the gear vip levels?

Easy math kind of for straight rakeback. J is 30% if you don't VIP points > 15k per month, others are less Q gear is more. Some issues if you dig deeper .. double point days, bonus redemption, and finally freerolls. If your new you can't do anything but gears, so your only choice is grind and get your points up.

You get 10 points per $1 raked, if you know the rake per hand or per 100 you can calc out the # of hands to play to get to the higher gears. 10K is pretty quick $1000 raked, 50K to J gear and then 100K on Q gear. With bonus and double point days you can get to almost break even at J gear and I switched, since I can get to Q gear 35% faster and then rakeback and VIP per month are equal. Remember, double point days only help with cash from gear levels not on transitions through levels or bonus redemption. Rakeback is paid daily which helps hold you up turn down swings to keep earning at higher buy ins. If you can reload or keep a bigger balance it doesn't matter, if not then I think rake back is always best until Q gear and you have some bonus active.

TLDR, rakeback is better unless at Q gear and maybe J gear, if new doesn't matter just get to grinding. When you redeem your points matters also as you don't have to do it by end of month you can redeem anytime, but only up to 3 times per month at any given level. Break out the excel and do the calcs you play poker, so should be easier than EV calcs.

I'm gonna hit K gear next month i believe, i think rakeback is awesome since its nightly and can be alot but i was told i should switch to the VIP program? If so, will I get $600 per 15k points EARNED? or can i WIN them, playing the 525 point 6 max sngs? If i haveta EARN the points for the 600 bonus?

My guess, since your King gear RPMSeth should be a quick chat for you, is you can use points won in SNG. Double point days count to VIP program, only bonus and gear levels use earned points.

Unless you play very close to your bankroll limit, can't reload if busted, you should switch. Higher base percentage + double point days will greatly exceed your 35% rb. Also, you earn points at 35% faster rate to get to A gear which is only 50% of your K gear earnings and another 5% rb is gained. If you have a bonus, that increases the rate of play through. Really you should have switched at Q gear, unless you have to have nightly rakeback to keep you in play through the downswings.

Oh yea forgot, you have to use up your points or they will be put back to zero when you switch. Get ready to play a batch of tourney's to use them all up.

Well, if you were allowed to keep the points you accumulated prior to switching and then converted them after the switch then you would be getting an additional 40%(if you switch at K gear) rakeback on top of the 35% that you were already paid before, for total of 75% rakeback on your play prior to the switch.

That would be nice, but yeah...

And you are not "FORCED" to use them, they just get reset to zero whether you use them or not :P

Also remember as someone else posted, in the Gear program you earn VIPP's 35% more (or is it 35% faster?) than than you do when getting straight rakeback.

Does the overdrive 1500 bonus clear pretty slow? If i were playing around 3500 hands a day at .10/.25 you think i would clear it in a month or raking around 120$ a day?

Depends on if your Rakeback 6.5 points per $, or not, new here so I will assume not rakeback.

Without rakeback:

Takes $75 to clear $10 of bonus. So at $120/day .. $16/day and 31 days in Jan .. $496 for the month. Each bonus takes 3 months to expire, and you can stack them if you like, basically bonus is 13% rakeback, on top of whatever your gear level.

You just can't open the software at the same time. You can't open Carbon while having RPM open.

are you allowed to play what i cal"gamble poker" say get in a mtt on RPM with intention to gamble it up and shove allin to try to doubleup. if you win then nice you play it out. but if you lose, you then log out of rpm and open another skin and play that tournament.... is that ok? im not interested in doing it, just thought of it
