RPM POKER BEGINNER/GENERAL QUESTIONS THREAD RPM POKER BEGINNER/GENERAL QUESTIONS THREAD

It bothers me that you have to give the technical department a nudge to renew the security certificate. If they can't manage that simple task then that reflects rather poorly on RPM.

Was just looking around the RPM promotions page and all, saw theres a "get staked" application, i find this very interesting. anyone ever try it? hows it work?

Has this issue been taken care of ? I started a seperate thread about it and it was merged in general questions. Almost like RPM would rather not have it on there front page.

Well thats lame. Seth Jon with the constant shady stuff going on in the world of online poker recently, so much its hard to keep up with it all. A security certificate is something you might want to try and fix.

I understand not doing anything with the sight as far a inprovments, software etc. No idea what a security certificate is but lets get this fixed guys.

I'm not much of a computer person, so i'm not exactly sure what a Security Certificate is, but based on other replies, it seems like a relatively easy fix.

Please get this sorted out today RPM. It's been over a week now which is unacceptable. I will say it's definitely making me lose confidence, and I worry how casual players will respond to this.

Very interested in depositing to and beginning play at RPM Poker.
Couple quick questions,

1) Is rakeback available?

2) How many tables can be played at once? (cash)

3) How are deposit/withdrawal transactions handled?

Thanks

When is RPM going to re-validate their website certificate? It has been down a while now.
09-12-2011 , 10:31 PM
uh huh, lots of little things that add up to a bit of uneasiness around here. Renewing a certificate doesn't take much. The longer things like this go unaddressed, the more speculation will pop up.

Where can we check our rakeback payments? Is it just in with all the tournament buy-ins/cashes in the ledger or somewhere else? Also, when does it get paid?
Thanks

In the ledger as balance adjustment, paid everyday at 1:00 server time.

Just saw that today. Wonder who is doing the staking or how to apply for that.

Something weird just happened while i was only 2 tabling, i was playing both games fine and then 1 of the games just went to a black screen while the other was ok. I tried going to"my games " then it just still came up in black. i had to exit the client and reopen it, and then play both my games and every 90 sec or so either game went to a black screen, i was really annoyed and worried if it was my comp low on memory or something? or a glitch in the system? When it happened i had a popup saying: "uncaught exception out of memory" then on the top something like C program files/rpm exe.

this ever happen to anyone before?

This is all that I found, so your're not the only one. I'd contact support about it.

RPM froze on me again....seems to randomly happen once a month or so...blehhh annoying especially since it took so long to get all my tables up this session

Is the RPM Vip rewards section going to be changed? It seems silly that there is a cap on the amount of cashback purchases you can make per month. It's even worse when you consider someone at the highest VIP level who rakes over $6000 a month. Unless I'm missing something, this person's rakeback % would actually start to fall off the MORE he played. So he has a big incentive to move his volume elsewhere once he hits the threshold. This is clearly the opposite effect of what a VIP program wants to accomplish.

is there a point playing on rpm or merge at this point can you get money out?

This is an excellent question and one that has been a topic of discussion recently. I do not have an answer at this exact moment, but will likely have a clearer picture shortly.

Not to defend shilling, but this type of comment really is not necessary and accomplishes nothing. If you are that upset with Seth you should either PM him or contact the 2+2 mods. We don't need every thread plagued with off topic insults and attacks.

It prob wouldnt happen if this forum had a dedicated thread to the issue, somebody wont allow that, So people end up posting comments derailing threads.

It is what it is and Seth is the one responsible for it, not only the Shilling initially, but the derailed threads now.

Hi folks,

This thread is the thread where you may discuss the issue, and this thread is 2+2's response to it.

Thank you for keeping these threads on topic.

Hi Seth

I recently won a $60 satellite ticket. I am wondering why I can't combine this with cash to play bigger buy-in MTT's. When will this option be available?

Thanks
