RPM POKER BEGINNER/GENERAL QUESTIONS THREAD RPM POKER BEGINNER/GENERAL QUESTIONS THREAD

I'm rakeback and pretty sure I still am in that group. I think they added points ledger per our request, so we can see available tourney buy in points. So I don't think any status change.

Is there a way to change the alert sound when the action is on you?

I usually work while having a sit and go or a multi running (one table) when I played on other sites there was a loud alert sound that the action was on me. On RPM (I use the Apple client) it's very quiet and I am timed out a lot.

Does anybody else have this problem? And is there a way to make a louder alert sound when the action is on me?

Thanks

Yes, our Maltese license was just recently approved. We are finalizing it and should be good to go shortly.

This might be a dumb question, but is there a way to do a chop in a tournament? I was at a final table the other day and I thought about doing it, but I realized I had no idea how to do it.

new us players?

If you are inactive for 60 days do you lose your rakeback on your account? Or would i be able to log in after that period and deposit and still use that function?

RPMSeth, good news about Malta, I think that license is better.
Also the chop tourney info would be nice to know.

Yes, I have that same problem. It would be nice to have a selectable alert to our preference, etc.

I looked in the program folder to see if we could add our own sounds but the sound for RPM is in a .dat file...so...don't think we can do anything with that.

FT an Stars were/are all .wav which was easy to change.

Does anyone know what the update was?

If a few of my friends had an account on RPM, could I transfer them money so they can cash it out for me? Probably not okay, but thought I'd ask anyways.

When is the live chat available? I was told to speak on monday through live chat to get player to player transfers approved, but it says it's not available right now. Is this because it's the 4th of July?

as long as they keep raking money, the site will not care. If you transfer them the money and they don't play, the site will not be happy and very likely to decline the payout request by your friends.

I think live chat is based in Aus, I don't think they have today as a bank holiday

I was just being impatient. You're right, I already did everything.

There are quite a few tourneys I can't register for with VIP points. Why is that?

First, you would need to get yourself verified if you have not done so already, in order to initiate a player to player transfer. Now I assume, based on the way you worded your question, you wanted to transfer funds to other players to have them cash it out for you, and not transfer to them as a means of cashing out, i.e they hand you the cash.

So then they too would need to be verified, in order to be able to initiate an withdrawal. Also, there's a short holding period where funds received by transfer cannot be cashed out. From what I was told by support, there are no play through requirements, merely time constraints as to the availability of transferred funds for cashouts, although you may want to verify that with support for yourself.

I'm not sure if there's been a definitive answer for this. I think there was some speculation that it had something to do with having to be a guarantee or something, not sure where that was posted. For a 2+2 member generated list of tourneys you can buy into with VIP points, check this thread*.

*This thread is not a complete or official list of tourneys you can play on RPM with points, it's merely a compilation of posts which may be used as a kind of starting point.

Thanks for the info, yea I know about all the verification stuff, was wanting to do this so I can cash out more than the $2500 max at a time, but didn't know if RPM would condone this or not?

Thanks. I want to try some bounty tourneys with VIP points, but frankly I can't bring myself to spend real money on tourneys

is it possible to change my name
07-06-2011 , 08:05 AM
Very unlikely, your best bet would be to contact support. If you havent played real money they may let you, but if you have already played Im gonna go with no.

Just signed up with RPM. I like the overall look & software, but I have a dumb question on hand history that is tilting me...when I am playing and open hand history, it takes me to the "choose a game" tab where i have to click through all the envelopes to find my current game and find the hand I want before it will take me over to the "game detail" tab showing me the last hand.....and I have to go through this process every time - isn't there a way to set it up so that I can just go directly to the last hand I played on that table and then page back & forth between previous or future hands?

Also, is there a way to search for a specific player to see if they are playing any tables at the moment?

Thanks!

I think you can friend a player. Not sure if they have to accept if they do then you have search like you said. I don't want to tap the tank, and I play limit so if they are there I can find them so I haven't. On the other hand I have fish friend me and I hope oh please I hope try to find me.
