RPM Check Withdrawals - Check withdrawal process RPM Check Withdrawals - Check withdrawal process

I have been waiting for my first and only withdrawal (by check) from RPM for a month now. After contacting RPM support on the live chat multiple times, they told me that there were some issues but that "they have been resolved". And that I should expect my check in 4-5 weeks. Actually, the first time it was 3-4 weeks, now it's 4-5 weeks, so basically, just keep waiting and pray?

I would like to know if this is going to be the norm for RPM. Right now I am hoping just to get my check at all and thinking that I should have known better than to try out another one of these smaller sites because this is always what seems to happen(easy to win money, hard to actually get it).

Can any RPM support shed some light on this? Has anyone received a check from RPM in a timely fashion? Are e-wallet withdrawals slow as well?
Also, are there any future plans to add more e-wallet withdrawal options for USA players?- for example how about usemywallet. You have it as a deposit option, how hard can it be to add it as a withdrawal option? You are the only site I know of that has usemywallet as a deposit option, but not a withdrawal option. Right now, all you have is E-wallet xpress, pic-club and check for USA players, all which seem to be bad. E-wallet express charges a huge 10% fee, and pic-club, I have heard is slow, and I know some people who have gotten in trouble with pic-club for withdrawing from them "too often". And if I can't trust that checks will arrive in less than 3 weeks, I can't trust playing at RPM, nor can I recommend trying this site to other players. So, rpm, please respond.

We're looking into this as a top priority issue right now, thank you for bringing this to our attention.

update: I actually received my check in the mail today. So, it took a little over a month from when I requested it and about 28-29 days from when it was "processed" to get to me. Maybe if RPM is still around 4 months from now I will try playing some more there, or if I hear that people are getting checks faster.

Just wanted to throw an update into this thread to explain the check withdrawal process.

The checks are processed by Merge on our behalf by a 3rd party. This means that the Merge Network handles RPM Poker's check requests, sends the request to a third party, and the third party sends your check.

The process is as follows:

1) The withdrawal request is lodged by the player.
2) Withdrawal requests are processed in bulk by the Merge Network on Tuesday and Friday for all network skins.
3) The request is sent to the 3rd party processor. This all takes about 5 working days. Unfortunately the current 3rd party processor - the people who actually draw up and send the checks - have been taking too long. Merge are very aware of this and alternative processors are being actively sought.

In the interim, Merge has activated UseMyWallet for withdrawals as well. We recommend UseMyWallet as one of the easier and more efficient withdrawal options.

Glad you received your check, and thank you again for bringing the situation to our attention. We look forward to continuing to serve you for much longer than 4 months...

Seth

I've withdrawn 2 checks successfully from Carbon (Merge), both arrived 4 weeks after their status changed to "Processed".

Merge has a very good reputation for quick and easy cashouts, and we will continue to do everything we can to ensure fast, efficient service!

There is no reason for that process to take 5 days. If its taking you guys a solid work week to accumulate withdrawal information & send it to these guys how can merge complain about them taking to long on their end?

Firm believer that these third party companies hold these funds in an account and they collect interest on our money while we wait for it to show up. The interest is probably split with Merge so they have no intention of finding a faster processor. (just my opinion)

This would also explain why they only send this info two times a week and not daily like the customer would prefer. There is probably a minimum "deposit" to collect a certain % of interest in return.

This is how they (merge) wants it, they make money by doing this.

As long as I get my money I don't care, I just think its pretty shady when they charge $15 for a withdrawal and then most likely get a cut from the payment processor as well.

I'm really not trying to be a dick but 4 weeks is neither quick and easy or fast and efficient.

day 1 - transfer information
day 2 - waiting in Que at processor
day 3 - processed and mailed
day 4 - waiting with postal service
day 5 - check starts moving

and lets say a MAXIMUM of 2 weeks for delivery to any country

That is 19 days including 2 days of dead time and a very generous 2 weeks (14 days) delivery time. So even at this slow rate it is still 11-12 days faster than what is currently expected. This money has to be sitting somewhere collecting interest.

Honestly, if its not I'm disappointed. If you're going to take this long, do something productive with it.

Almost 5 weeks now and no check. I log on to Customer Service Chat everyday for the last week now and all they say is they will email me when they hear from Cashier. Very slow cashouts. On 5 weeks since the request was approved and almost 6 weeks since I actually made the request. Players beware until they resolve this. I am waiting on $2600 from them as we speak. Seth I emailed you but you did not respond as well. I am very worried. On the flip side, games are very very soft but that's pointless if you don't received your winnings.

I received your PM and responded as soon as I saw it.

You'll receive your check, please continue to be patient! We're aware of the time the checks are taking, and that's why we urge all of our users to deposit and withdraw with an e-Wallet like eWalletXpress whenever possible.

I outlined the check withdrawal process earlier in this thread. Unfortunately, the delay in receiving your check is not a Merge side issue. The Merge Network is always looking for faster and better payment processing solutions for the players. That said, withdrawal by check is completely safe and reliable, so you may continue to withdraw using this option if you so choose, and you don't mind a longer wait than withdrawing to an ewallet.

Since the check withdrawal process is outlined earlier in this thread, I'm going to close it. If anybody has any questions about a pending withdrawal, please PM me or contact RPM Poker support.

Thanks!
