im guessing the royal flush bonus is on every merge site, so ill just post it here. if rules are different, please let me know.

i flopped a royal on overbet, emailed support, and got this:

Dear Andrew,

Thank you for contacting us.

We are sorry for the inconvenient, I checked the game hand by hand to locate the one at the time you mentioned, but unfortunately, you are not eligible for the Royal Flush Bonus.

As you can read in the promotion page: "Player must win hand / pot with the Royal Flush" but your opponent folded before the river was dealt.

i did win the hand with a royal using both whole cards, but didn't take it to showdown. it doesn't say you have to take it to showdown on the site, all you had to do is win with a royal using both whole cards.

do they expect me to check down a royal?

If you flopped it on overbet, why not post it in the main internet forum? I don't understand the player must win hand/pot considering you cannot lose.

so basically u have to get paid off vs villan and go to showdown, or if u think villan will fold to a bet, u just gotta check it down w/ a royal?

The RPM Poker royal flush bonus is awarded when you make a royal flush using both of your hole cards and win the pot; you don't need to go to showdown.

Most promo's I've seen before require showdown, so yeah, it's usually wise to check/call down. BUT - I think your customer service rep is misinformed - Overbet and RPM's rules only say you have to win the pot (ldo, it's a royal)

^^^That's pretty much what all the skins say. I got one on Hero that didn't get paid off on the river, and I was paid the bonus. I don't think the skins handle this bonus anyway, and that Merge does as Dan on Hero was unaware of the bonus.

The skins don't handle the bonus. Merge does. You have to send the hand to support @ merge.com or some such. I sent my first one to Seth and had to resubmit it to Merge to get paid.

I don't think you send the hand to Merge, but to the skin you got it on.

When I hit my first RF, I was instructed by RPMJon in live chat to send hh to Manager@rpmpoker.eu to get my bonus which they paid out w/in 48hrs.

Anyway, nothing in those above terms says that the hand must go to showdown or that any players in the hand must not fold before the river is dealt. Either the rep doesn't know what the f they're talking about or they think you are stupit and trying to hose you.

Just re-email them quoting their terms and conditions for that promo. Maybe they are getting it mixed up with the bad beat jackpot or something.

That is strange, Mako. When I hit my first RF, I sent it to manager @ Rpm. Never saw the bonus after a week so I asked RPMJon about it in live chat. He told me that I should have sent it to support @ merge instead. Consistency FTW

In RPMJon's defense/credit. He did take my hand number and submit it to the merge folk explaining why it was now out of the 48 hour time period and I got the bonus. Great support there.

Coke, I just checked my sent e-mails to double check and the actual address RPMJon instructed me to send hh to was: support@rpmpoker.com and NOT the one in my previous post. (Sorry for the mistake. I can't seem to edit that post)

Which still seems different from merge

I don't think it is. Pretty sure the support@sitename all go to Merge support. I know RPM has their special support though too. What's the email to reach them?

Is it a bonus that you have to clear ? If so that's almost worthless to me I have thousands in bonuses already

support apologized and i recieved the bonus. u have to clear the bonus before you can withdrawal, but they reward it to ur account instantly.
