8 gear to 10 gear is pretty quick for cash players .. easy to figure out for tourney players also.

10 gear to J gear is a long grind 4x 10 gear. Rakeback is better at 10 gear. But the 300 points are not so valuable as they have no cash value, though you can use them for tourney entries so you would get more value than a ring game player. J gear if you have bonuses stacked is break even.

But, points are better for rake races and bonus clearing .. I switch at J gear and got to Q gear faster and now I'm +EV over rakeback and just a merge slave now.

I think the consensus was that you are better off with RB until you are at Q-level. Then the value of the cash-for-points about equals out and only gets better as you move up

I would like to switch my play to RPM if I could get rakeback on RPM. I'm stuck with Carbon only because of this dumb 60 day thing. I don't understand the point to it.

The rakeback gets put into your account at midnight.

If you click on the "player admin" button in the client, then click on "ledger history" it will show all of your balance adjustments for the day, including rakeback.

thats what ive been told, i see where i go in and out of games, but nothing says rakeback or how much you have made for the day so far.

The rakeback should be categorized as "Balance Adjustment" in the ledger, and under "description" will say "Positive $XX Balance Adjustment".

If you're a rakeback player and make the switch to VIP later, can you use the points you accumulated for cash?

At the time of the switch, your point balance will be zero'ed. You will want to use them on tourney's.
