Rakeback at RPM Poker is back on the Merge Network Rakeback at RPM Poker is back on the Merge Network

Rakeback is back on the Merge Network!

As of June 1, 2012, rakeback can be added to new and existing accounts. To clarify, if you would prefer to receive rakeback rather than receive VIP rewards, you may e-mail the RPM Poker support team so this change may be made to your account.

Please note that all of the old network rakeback rules apply. In order to receive rakeback via RPM Poker, you must not have any active accounts with another brand for 60 days. If you have an active rakeback account with another brand and would prefer to switch to receive your rewards via RPM Poker to take advantage of the daily promotions and enhanced support, you may do so by simply switching your play to RPM Poker and waiting for your account to be eligible for rakeback.

The rakeback rate is 35%. All rakeback players are eligible for all RPM Poker promotions and bonuses, and nothing is deducted from your rakeback.

Please reply in this thread or send us an e-mail if you have any questions. We're always here to help.

Is this network-wide or specific to RPM?

Looks like network wide (I already have rakebck with an affiliate on Carbon). Might be to compete with Lock's move.

Very nice. Taking into consideration the bonuses, points for tourney entries, and other various promos the effective rakeback is actually much higher.

Does the 60 day rule not apply to people playing on Lock who wants to switch their rakeback over to RPM, since they'll be moving to a new network?

omg! Why now, when I wanted to leave Merge? Now I have to re calculate things. I might stay. Great news! Will they increase the rake because of this?

Will the rb be paid daily/weekly/monthly?
05-28-2012 , 01:32 PM
How do you view where you can find the last time you played on another skin. In the ledger it only shows the last 30 days.
05-28-2012 , 01:37 PM
RPM Reps...I think you need to go to Merge and tell them the 60 day thing needs to be eliminated. And in a related note, if you are only allowed to have RB on one skin that needs to be eliminated too.

I mean geeez, play a hand, get 35% RB, it doesn't need to matter what skin.

33% dealt > 35% weighted contributed

The 60 day rule only applies to active Merge Network brands, so players from Lock Poker can move their rakeback to RPM without waiting.

What's gonna happen to my VIP points, if I choose to get rakeback from June?

If you choose to switch to rakeback, you will keep your VIP Point balance.

This is a good time to answer a couple of other network FAQ:

- No player chat with regards to rakeback is permitted at the tables. Anyone found discussing rakeback will have their rakeback removed for a month or longer at the discretion of Merge Gaming.

- Rakeback players are not eligible to exchange points for cash.

- Rakeback is capped at 35%.

- Rakeback is paid daily, directly into your account.

Seth,

For us players who kept rakeback initially, is anything changing? Or is this just to allow everyone else to have what we already have?

Existing rakeback accounts will remain unchanged. You will continue to receive 35% rakeback paid daily into your account.

Thanks....

with the increased competition it would be nice if Merge also did two other things:

1) Follow through on the promised rake reductions for fixed limit games.
2) Allow RB players to use their points like we used to be able to do before the RB change was implemented.

Item 1 was promised over a year ago (not by you) and has yet to materialize.

This. If this happens, it'll most likely prevent me from switching most of my volume to Lock.

What is the email address we should send the request to?

How were the points able to be used? I have been a RB player since I signed up last year (never switched to VIP) and I have only ever been able to enter tournaments with the points. Did I miss something?

Before they made the change to their VIP system you used to be able to use the points to buy cash (or maybe it was bonuses, I don't remember). When they changed their system they let us keep RB but we can only use those points to buy into tourneys.

I love my rakeback but I simply do not have the time to commit to tournaments so my points are totally worthless to me. I have a boatload just sitting there and it would be nice if i could at least buy a bonus with them.

Interesting. I guess I missed that, antneye. All I ever saw available was tourny entries. Maybe I didn't look hard enough. Web site is so easy to find stuff on ya know

It was points for cash. I think it was 100 per $1.

What if u are a rakeback player thats wants to switch back over to VIP? I was level 8 when I switched to RB, will I start at 0 or 8 and/or can I continue with RB and eventually switch to VIP (will I be at a higher tier if I continue grinding?)
