Merge is shooting theirselves in the foot daily concentrating on turbos when the mainstream doesn't play them while turbo players play both regular and turbo.

I actually find them quite entertaining, especially Shorthanded 10k stack one.

Not gonna lie, I'm pretty disappointed with this series. Deep Stacked Super turbos are, as t_roy said, nonsense, the satellites are all super-turbo crap shoots, there's very little variety in the events (no Stud Hi or HORSE?), and the guarantees, while not bad, just aren't enough to be impressive.

EDIT: Brownie points if you add a HU PLO Championship.

EDIT 2: Why not just do half as many events with bigger guarantees? This seems fairly obvious.

Better than normal turbos? What's the point? Either have a deep structure or a shallow structure imo. Both are fine, but combining them is absurd.

I mean, I'm mostly a cash game player, so maybe it doesn't make sense you're mostly grinding turbos or whathaveyou, but you get some play in the beginning and then a crapshoot towards the end - I like it. Just me, I guess.

Event 52a will be NLH and Event 52b will be HORSE. The buy-in for this tournament is entirely up to the players, you can vote on the facebook page!

PLO8 MTTS are way more popular than PLO mtts on MERGE!!! Yet there is no $10K PLO8, but there is a $10K PLO.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet because I care about reading this thread as much as Merge cares about implementing a real rebuy/add-on feature but why isn't there a higher stakes turbo IE a 109 or something?

Also, there's a typo on the schedule. One of the last $33 NLHE events, cant remember which, is shown as a $30+1 when it should be $30+3.

I plan on running a team PLB competition on 2p2/P5s. Will post details once the current one on is underway and any bugs are worked out.
