Definitely hope they stick around. I'm guessing they do not actually know what they will do ATM. I'm sure they are probably going to have a meeting with their legal dept. today.

I hope RPM stays because it was my favorite site before 'Black Friday' and is definitely now my favorite site.

Cake does not accept residents of all states either. If Merge does pull out of the US market that leaves only leaves a few options for me. I guess I'll continue on True Poker.

Hopefully we will know more on this today, or atleast this week. I don't see all sites pulling out of the US market. Some site will definitely take the risk to capatilize on the oppurtunity, IMO. I would just prefer it be RPM/Merge.

i think merge has to continue to operate within the US. I mean I would guess that the VAST majority of the players are US, and that will continue to rise over the coming weeks.

anyone else still not recieved there promo stuff from last weekend btw?

edit: hearing rumours about US players getting the boot soon

As the US player moves to Merge, it's only a matter of time, when the US DOJ comes after Merge.

This may be true but it took the DOJ 4+ years to finally indict the major sites and that was mainly a lucky coincidence that they caught the Aussie and flipped him, IMO. If they have not already started building a case then hopefully we would have legislation passed before that happened.

Its just unclear if Merge will decide that they have to pull out of the US.

Even if Merge, or individual skins pull out of the US, your money is safe, just like it is on Stars/Tilit.

If you want to play, go ahead. Any money you make is safe IMO. It may not get withdrawn at the the fastest times, may take a month or 3 or 4 or whatever, but its safe IMO.

Just initiated a UMW withdrawal for a portion of my roll, will update ITT

Merge isn't going anywhere. Why would they issue an official statement? No laws have changed that they aren't already aware of, and - again - they are completely unrelated to this lawsuit. Nothing has changed for Merge.

I understand the paranoia, but I don't think it's warranted for Merge.

I sure hope you're right.

How long does a typical check withdrawal request take to be approved? How long do you think it will take after Friday's ****?

Merge really needs to offer HU super turbo SNGs w/ 25-30bb starting stacks & 2-3 min blind levels.

These games have become more popular than regular & turbo speed SNGs on FTP & to not offer them would be a big mistake.

It's time to step your game up Merge. You have the opportunity to become the top US online poker site after Friday.

Anybody who would like to see these structures please email support.

There is a RPM Suggestion Thread here on 2p2. Make sure you post any suggestions in that thread.

I think a statement from Merge would be warranted. There's no denying what the US DOJ did and people who play on Merge are wondering if they're next.

There may be legal ramifications of making a statement though.

Just wondering if RPM/merge have approve checks since 4/15. I know they claim to be unaffected, but it would be nice to hear from players. Anyone one RPM/ merge tried one yet? I appreciate any info you could give me.

Sorry, I'm just looking into playing there. Do they usually confirm your cashout with an approval later, did you get your approval today, or will it be approved in the near future?

Okay guys, how safe do you think we are? Was RPM involved in the same bank drama as FT/PS. What's our best course of action?
