lol don't want to start the whole "rigged" debate. just needed to vent. i have to fine tune my game a bit for this site i think. me + 6 fish and 2 regs plays way different than me + 6 regs and 2 fish. i suppose variance would be greater due to this factor. i'll be on again in a bit here, come and get it boys!

I've also ran really bad since i started on RPM but you will run bad on every site you play on at some point, so that's a pretty stupid reason to stop playing on a poker site.

But hey, i guess when your running hot it's all skill and when your running cold it's rigged.

RPM needs as much support as they can get, they are a breath of fresh air in what was for me, a stale online poker world.

Hey guys, im getting this error that comes up every time i open up the RPM lobby, now i used to just click ok on it, and it would be fine, but now i have tried joining a table, and it comes up again, but this time the whole table is blacked out when that error comes up, so now i have no way of playing...

any ideas?

Also i still have half of the space on my pc available? so dont think its to do with that

I never said I was a losing player and also never said it was rigged I'm not complaining because I did say my AA has ran into others KK more often in 30k hands on RPM than over 1million on stars/tilt

Post screenshots of your database and people might atleast feel bad about your variance.
03-05-2011 , 09:47 PM
i don't expect anyone to feel bad about my variance. i do wish variance had given me a chance to establish myself here before the massive runbad. unfortunately, my roll cannot withstand anymore losses with hands like AA<KK, AA<KJ AK<AQ KK<AA, KK<53, JJ<A8, AK<94, set over set, rivered 2-outers and runner runner straights/flushes (if you don't believe me, i can post HH's). i am down 9 BI this week in 13k hands, and i will probably be transferring the rest of my roll back to stars as soon as possible.

fwiw, i really like the layout of RPM, support is excellent, and the fish are abundant. i guess it just wasn't meant to be. gl all

There are no known issues with our client right now. 9 times out of 10, problems like this are related to your computer.

Your best bet is emailing support at RPMPOKER.com for a response to a technical question like this.

dug, I played with you a lil bit lately.

You seem to play decent, you will crush on RPM if you stay.

Oh and if you stay away from me...MUHAHAHAHAH

Your link didn't work for me.

It sounds like a RAM issue, not hard drive space.

What OS are you running? How much RAM? What other programs are running?

If it makes u feel any better... I've been down 10 buy ins in one session where all my better hands held up!
    03-06-2011 , 12:46 PM
I was having this problem earlier today too. It happened shortly after Java updated itself. I reinstalled RPM Poker and it seems to have fixed it for me.

done that twice, luckily got folds both times.

btw, i'm not giving up yet. i did what any wannabe pro poker player would dow after losing 7 BI in one session: i moved up to where they respect my raises! made back a good chunk of it at 50, which incidentally plays a bit more like 25 on stars that i'm used to. RPM Seth, could still use the rungood switch activated!
    03-06-2011 , 03:48 PM
Yeah ive just reinstalled it and works fine now, look in the folder before i uninstalled and it said poker.jex took up 34.5GB... that cant be right surely

like dynetk java had updated itself what caused this problem

Has anyone received their Supercharged Saturday bonus from yesterday yet?? I'm wondering how long this usually takes. Also, why is there zero razz or 7stud split on this site? The hold'em action seems to be strong though.
    03-06-2011 , 06:54 PM
Also, why are there no multi-table sng's?
    03-07-2011 , 01:08 AM
    Store update? hehe
    03-07-2011 , 01:08 AM
I tried to find a stud bbj table... can't find...

Hard enough to get stsngs going sometimes...
    03-07-2011 , 01:12 AM
And I feel the rpm variance pain. 30k hands and 18 Buyins below EV. :/ not gonna quit obv. Just annoying.
    03-07-2011 , 06:25 AM
it seems to me that RPM plays quite a bit below stars/FTP. i played some NL50, and plays more like 25 on stars. NL25 on RPM = NL5/NL0 imo. so much multiway, difficult to get heads up. can't count on redline winnings here.

sorry about the vents. i was just pissed cause i was shottaking 50 before i came over here, and then to not beat 25 was painful. thanks for the support.

    Man, 25NL is a fishfest.

I've been sucked out on a few times and taken some rough beats, but value betting is your friend.

I recoup most of my variance losses on ******s that probably put a piece of electrical tape over their monitor where the fold button is.

    RPM is amazing.

If you've played a million times, you've seen AA vs KK quite a bit more than you are remembering.

Selective memory/confirmation bias is a bitch.

Also, you're probably just running bad. My KK got busted by a KQ the other day after I was all in pf, the guy caught a double gutter on the flop and got there.

I was 45.50 +EV in the hand according to HEM, and it was super deep stacked. Instead I lost a BI and a half.

And yeah, it sucked, but its the game.

    New DoN reg here: Rastrero

So far have been playing the $5 ones and a few shots at $10 ones and the players are lolbad compared to Stars. Been running so so though but volume should take care of that.

Will be playind some cash and MTTs once the roll gets to $500 or so (deposited $200).

What's going on? I've posted a few times on the RPM section but never really did an intro, I don't think. Anyhow, I've seen a few of you at the tables and hopefully won't see you again
