Yea, RPM definitely take care of their players. Can you imagine even 1 player making comments about Full Tilt's support(and promo's) that you consistently see about RPM? HA not happening. In fact I don't see many even making these comments about Stars support! Of course, unless your super high volume stars promo's/bonus's don't compare.

Does this site limit CC deposits to once a day? I made the first deposit and then wanted to make a second a while later. I tried and insta declined from the processor even though it has plenty of room and has been used there numerous times. I did notice this odd form that was now necessary to fill out

So very irked

Did anyone else get limited to one deposit a day????

I haven't been able to make even one deposit. Horray for the UIGEA!

Does anyone know of a way to filter holdem games more selectively? Its kind of annoying to try and pilfer through all of the low stakes games in order to find the 25NL games. Is there a way I can only see those on the list?

The MF cc worked earlier in the day. If I had known this chit was going to go on nor able to get an answer from any support. RPM live chat online support which is supposed to be on from 12 to 12est is still not online. I went to the merge support link. They gave me the cut and paste answer about how banks dont allow these deposits..yada yada yada.

I then said that the card has been used a lot in the past, that it worked an hour ago..why wont it work now...do you have a new processor...a stoney silence. It has plenty of room

So have to go to bank to load on a prepaid cc instead of my normal cc...I went got the money, requested WU info from stars and put the damn money on their site. OMFG I can understand if it stopped taking it all together but it worked last hour and there is plenty of room.

I have never said anything bad about RPM in public. I loathe how cake went down. If I cant get money easily on this site, I might as well just play on stars.

IRKED!!!

Re: live chat, RPM Jon is generally online from 20 minutes from now until 12 hours and 20 minutes from now!

Re: your credit card, processing is very fickle. Sometimes CC's work, sometimes they don't. I hate to say it, but it is what it is! This is the reason we recommend getting a solid e-Wallet account to move money on and off of RPM Poker; credit cards are unreliable and have been for a long time now.

Seth, the issue with the e-wallet solution is that the player leaves themselves exposed to a large loss if they cash out and then the US government takes action against the e-wallet.

I love RPM, and I dont think its any better anywhere else, but that proposed solution comes with a huge risk to the player unless sites are going to backstop e-wallet losses. I think trying to go the player transfer route is much, much better even if it takes a little longer to get money on.

I have to agree with this. This is why I have yet to create an eWallet account. Unless it becomes absolutely necessary(in which case I would have to reevaluate the situation) I won't get one.

Of course the best solution is for "good" legislation to pass. I recently read that a Republican was going to introduce a bill this year. Not sure what it looks like though.

??? Don't leave money in the e-wallet just use it to deposit and cashout. You'd have to be pretty unlucky to have what you described happen if you don't leave a lingering balance in the e-wallet.

This, rpm should do what FTP does and posts the daily updates, or maybe a thread because there seems to be quite a bit of them.

You realize that there are usually lots of update with all poker sites, even if they are just small bugs?

I'd guess that RPM hasn't changed much.

FT usually only has an update thread when they reboot the servers for a planned update.
03-03-2011 , 11:08 PM
and FT only has a thread for an update which is about every month... if there is a small patch they update it in the thread...

I dont notice any changes anywhere... still works... so i dont stress

Until the last month or two, they didn't.

As much as I'd like to see this, RPM just doesn't have the constant large software changes that FT does. RPM hasn't changed their vip points, mgr hits, or games since I've been playing there. Updates tend to be to fix bugs that won't affect many people imo.

Support says RPM isn't informed by Merge what are in the updates, unless it's something substantial.

This is true. Skins are not updated for these small patches; they're generally not substantial at all and usually just fixing really small things that players wouldn't notice. If there's anything worth mentioning, you know we'll tell you!

I guess I'm now officially an RPM MTT regular. anyone else?
03-05-2011 , 12:56 AM
please please please turn off the ****ing doomswitch!!! i can't handle any more, i thought i liked this site. this can stop anytime, or i'll have to go back to abusing nits on stars.
03-05-2011 , 05:04 PM
I've played over a million hands on stars/tilt and in 30kish hands at RPM I've ran KK into AA or AA into KK more times so far on RPM than my whole career on stars/tilt. I'm not necessarily saying it's rigged but could something seriously be wrong with the random shuffler anyone else noticed this?

Gonna go out on a limb and say you have not seen AA run into KK more times in 30k hands on Merge than you have if you've played 1 million hands on Stars/FTP.

There's always people that INSIST the poker site they lose/breakeven on is rigged, but no matter how much you believe there's someone sitting behinhd a computer dedicated to turning on boom/doomswitches for each player account, it just simply doesn't happen. Online poker is not rigged.

Unless you play on UB/AP.
