I don't think there is, and I remember Seth saying the tables can't be modded either.

VIP FAQ

1. What are VIP Points, and how do I earn them?
VIP points are points given to you as a reward for playing at the RPM Poker cash game or tournament tables. For each $1 you contribute to the rake at the RPM Poker table, you will earn 10 VIP Points.

Texas Holdem $10 NL Holdem Double Up - 6 Handed - No Limit 0.00 5.20 <- why i don't obtained 8 point since i paid 0.80$ in rake?

isn't 94 sng i had to play but 144 to just release my 10$ increments, this make a HUGE difference!

If you have RB you only get 65% of the normal VIP pts you'd get w/o it

How much worse is the rake at the BBJ tables compared to the regular tables?
01-20-2011 , 12:57 AM
It's .50 extra each hand. Not worth it to hit the jackpot, but I feel like more fish are lured to the bbj tables, so that might be worth the extra.

So in a $5 pot they're gonna take out .50? That sounds like it would kill a winrate at 100NL or 200NL. Was thinking about going to RPM for 100NL but maybe not now.

Hi all. Just wanted to introduce myself. I've played on and off on RPM over the last year, but almost exclusively now this year at 25nl. Hope to see you all on the felt.

not to mention the fish, you would still usually be paying less rake than on ftp for example.
let's say you have %50 effective rakeback on merge and %27 on fulltilt.

in a $60 BBJ pot the rake on merge is $3+$0.5. you get %50 back on the $3, so you end up paying $2.
in a $60 pot the rake on fulltilt is $3, you get %27 back, you paid $2.19.

There is a point where playing BBJ tables is +EV, ie. the prizepool is big enough to where your expected win per hand is more than the amount you paying. I have been told its in the $300k-$400k area but have not bothered to work it out myself. Its just a bit more variance

The jackpot is nearing $500k again

Then I guess I'd better get to work and win a table share again.

Recently joined RPM and I like it so far, just had to get used to the software. I'm curious to know if anybody has cleared the 500 deposit bonus playing 25nl or does anyone have an idea on how many hands it would take?

If you play alot with all the promos + Bonuses running I would guess you can run near effective 60-70% RB if you play 100k hands a month at 50NL or higher.

None of the main sites can touch some of the Merge/RPM promos

Maybe it is the hours I am playing, (usually late night) but If I register for a SNG, it takes FO EVER to get going...

NO doubt...all the time.
01-24-2011 , 01:06 PM
Yes, traffic is definitely not there at times. Yesterday morning, I had an hour to play, but couldn't get on a table. Sometimes there are 6-7 people on various waiting lists. Why can't they start a new table?
01-24-2011 , 01:53 PM
YOU should start a new table...

You get double VIP points for starting a new table as well...

Sometimes, as soon as I sit on a new table (hint, look for tables with no players with a waiting list), someone pops on rite away and a few hands of folding gets more players on and next thing you know its full...

ALTHOUGH, for these reason's alone, once you are on a table the action is really fast. Lots of hands in... I don't understand the fuss about the short stackers... its not like there are 100 tables to go between.
