Re: OFFICIAL RPM POKER REGULARS THREAD

Wtf is this? I didn't play for 3-4 days, and all my settings are gone. My client looks like if it was a fresh install. Is it happened to anyone else?

Happened to me once after I had to force a shutdown when the client locked up, all of my settings were gone and it wouldnt let me change any of the defaults. Apparently when I forced the shutdown I corrupted the options file, I had to reinstall and select "delete options file" when it gave me the option. After that I could customize my settings again.

uggghhh. Why RPM lower the guarantees in the morning mtts? I know lock is leaving tomorrow, but come on, at least wait and see if there will be an overlay. These morning mtts never had an overlay. (the $800, $1500 rebuy)

Re: OFFICIAL RPM POKER REGULARS THREAD

Just began playing on Merge/RPM for the first time.. When is there typically the most sng traffic? $22, $33, $55, $110's? I'm looking for 6 max and 9 person turbos, but it seems like mostly all that fill up regularly are just super turbos.

Pretty much. Evenings are best though for traffic. And Sundays of course.

It has already helped you. There is a high probability that Merge RB has returned because of the new competition about to start with Lock/Cake. Merge RB is way better for 99% of the players than the lame bazallion point VIP method. And the return of RB is just one example of how the competition will force Merge to get off their ass and improve things.

Looks a bit thin now, with split of pool. Hopefully some will wonder back, competition is good but split pools is bad ...

And not just that! I just realized that the client deleted all the hand history files as well...ridiculous. Fortunately they are imported into HEM, but how the hell could I export over 1000 tourny HH's to be able to import them again?

Basically, one half the tables that are usually running at high micros .. 2/4 no table 1/2 1 table 3/6 1 table and 2 or 3 .5/1 ..

I think a fair amount of the regs were playing lock with better payout times. Didn't see the usually regs, but may be just a one day anomaly ..

Checked my intertops games and maybe one more table running there but it is hard to keep rolls at correct buy in levels and my rakeback is much worse on revolution. We are experiencing another tough spell in gaming but hopefully more will wonder back to the merge tables. Weekend will give a better view and games have more fish at top of month it seems to me.

Promo's will make me grind NL4 for hands,

Less regs may not be a bad thing...were the tables softer? i have a feeling folks will end up making accounts on merge skins and simply spread there play between the two, especially for limit. I don't see this as a long term big thing.

Although, if it gets Merge to FINALLY address Limit rake structure that would be a good thing.

Regs are double edged, we take the fish money (bad), but we provide tables and start tables (good). I was playing .5/1 and 1/2 so these games are always pretty fishey .. I'm underrolled at the moment for 3/6. I can start but need to be at the top of my roll for the variance.

Limit/micro rake adjustments would be the biggest help, but considering they just lost 30% of there traffic I doubt much change will come until they feel they are losing out to other sites.

I think revolution rake is better more stepped and smaller max. I don't play there enough to know.

Please, please merge review limit rake it is just brutal.
