Ran pretty well today. All 4NL six max and a bunch of tables.
01-02-2012 , 09:24 PM
well done guys, good news/bad news for me. Good news, made $55 at 4nl and 10nl, bad news not on pace to hit 10k hands by the end of the night, ending at 5,500 hands.

Hey Frozen P, how long did it take you to hit 10k playing 6max?
01-03-2012 , 12:34 AM
gj, guys. Was doomswitched today playing nl4 and nl10 FR. The large swong at the end of the graph is a small 50nl session I played to finish up the last few hands:

According to my calcs, about 6.75 hours. That's playing 16-18 tables. About 1500 hands/hour or so.

For some reason the last time I did this I thought I was able to 24 table.

Sometimes I think the software actually will let you play more tables. I swear I've been on 20 tables more than once. I may have been hallucinating though.

I think it has something to do with being on a waitlist for multiple tables. Someone then leaves multiple tables so you get invited to several tables at once. If you keep clicking accept, it lets you on some extra.

Don't quote me on this though, lol.

when do you get the ticket? I sent my optin from the wrong address and didn't realize it til half way through. I better be getting this still.
01-03-2012 , 02:01 PM
It takes a day or two . I havent gotten mine yet from yesterday either . be patient imo
01-03-2012 , 02:10 PM
I wish they would let us trade this tickets to others or redeem them for money. I think Carbon is making a marketplace to do just that.

I'm usually busy on Sundays, so I don't get to play the 100k that often. I'm going to have 7 or so of these tickets at the end of the month, but I won't have any time to play them, lol.

Yeah, didn't make it today. Played about 5k hands and then got tied up. Ended up about 9 buyins for the day, though. So that's good.

Went to bed early the night before, so no hands put in 12am+. Got up at noon decided I didn't want to squeeze it in under the wire.

anyone else doin this? I got in 2750 hands at 10NL 6 max and dropped 9 BIs already. 9 frikin BIs! I'll barely break even at this rate. Better run better tomorrow. Tonight was an absolute nightmare. Need to sleep off this tilt lol. GL all.

3 hours at 10nl and 4nl fr, only 2,167 hands, $15 profit. Not sure I'll continue when I get up, thought I'd get at the minimum 850 hands per hour.

Went a little overboard today. 17k hands. I still do not know how to play poker. 10NL seems a lot hard than it did a year ago, lol.

And is it just me, or is the rake absolutely horrific at 10NL? I never really paid much attention to the rake, even though it would probably be wise to do so.

I wish. Hopefully I'll be at Q gear by the middle of February. So that will be nice.

I messed up the calc in my head and ended up playing 11k instead. I never look at the hands total while playing, it makes the grind a little easier. I played a <3k session before going to bed and then an 8300 hand 5h40h session. I have estimated that the total takes 7hr max, thus making the coupon being worth to about an additional $15/hr. If you consider RB, 2X points, and the fact that you should always end up beating 4NL you can probably end up with ~$25/hr rate, which beats most jobs.
