Is there a hotkey that you can press to bring a table that needs action to the front? If not there should be one immediatly,so frustrating having to go through tables to find what table needs action if your stacking.

^^ something like that would e nice

also maybe something to auto handle all pop ups or at least the sng popup that tells you a tourney has started or ended cause those have to be manually closed

hey can i ask..... wtf does merge mods do? im totally confused by it. im assuming its to get custom themes and stuff.

can we change the cards that come out to make it easier to multi table like the mod packs from tilt buster?

i would really really appreciate some sort of help with this im no computer wiz like but would like to learn and fiddle with themes and what not. its actaully really annoying me.

As of right now, I've managed to change sounds, tables(not bad beat tables), carpets, card backs. I can't change card faces. They seem to reload every time you open a new table (I'm guessing).

Make sure you run MergeKeys as admin.

More detailed step by step instructions:

Do these four steps for MergeMods and MergeKeys (Win7 and Vista) and make sure you get MergeKeys recognizing tables first:
1) Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\RunBetterPoker.com MergeKeys Beta
2) Right click the MergeMods(and MergeKeys) .exe and select Properties
3) Click the Compatibilty tab
4) Under Privilige Level, select Run this program as administrator

The modded files are in the Mods directory (created when MergeMods runs for the first time) in the path in step 1 above. You can change card backs, carpets (not on bad beat tables), the button, maybe tables, rails, inner rails. If you want to make single image tables, make all the rails, tables, shadows clear PNGs.

The first time it runs it downloads a couple files from my website to the Mods directory (includes a few custom carpets and all custom sounds). You can play with those and if you screw up too bad, delete them and they will re-download automatically when you restart MergeMods.

If you want to test before you attempt modding, turn on sounds and images, click Save and Continue, then open your Merge client, open a table and go to custom colors. You should have new sounds on startup. Go to carpets #s 3,4,6 and 7 are custom.



Leave MergeMods on until you close the lobby or your Merge client will re-download un-modded files at startup. This won’t screw up your files in the Mods directory, but it is quit annoying.

If the files weren’t downloaded correctly on startup there will be some issues (you’ll have no sound or no table image if this happens). This is absolutely, positively not permanent. If this happens you can re-download the files from here and move them to the Mods directory:

To modify files, simply open the zip files and replace anything you want with your renamed custom files. Then open your Mergeclient and see if it worked. Like I said above, some things appear not to be moddable (i.e card faces). If you screw anything up too badly, you can redownload the files by either deleting the zip files and restarting MergeMods or downloading them to the Mods directory manually.

Modded carpets should be 1280x915 pixels.

When you turn MergeMods off, all themes will revert to their original state.

If you use auto-login there are issues occasionally, so I suggest turning that off.

when im changing the files in the mod zips, what do i rename them as?

I downloaded an image and called it carpet0004 and dropped it in the tables zip file and it didnt work

You need to delete the old carpet0004 or yours will be renamed carpet0004(2). Go in, delete the old 004, rename the one you put in and fire up RPM. The file MUST be the same format, which in this case is .PNG

Please report back as soon as possible on whether it worked or not.

ah no what it is, is I needed to rename my image file as carpet0004.png instead of carpet0004.jpg, then i just dropped it in and it replaced the original file.


As you can see I have the carpets working

Pretty easy once you know the steps, right?

Did you try the sounds or any of the backgrounds I included?

it is a little complex but i guess thats life lol

you have the FT vegas one on there, it worked.

havent tried sounds yet, on carbon they dont have start up sounds so i have to sit and am working on my fluorescent multi-tabling theme before I start with sounds.

I'll let you know if I find any bugs or w/e.

It would be so sick if you could figure out how to mod the card faces, i would pay for that. I mean I would donate to you mate but its hard for me to get money online and stuff because I have no ID atm. when I get some ID ill throw a few bills your way for sure.

this was pretty basic. I don't expect many bugs, but please do report any. I'll have an update out today or tomorrow fixing a few little things.

You can open a table and not sit.....you'll still hear the sounds.

Right click, properties on the image file. The dimensions are in that info. Cards are 199x299 pixels.

I worked it out. The bit depth for the image we use needs to be 32 or lower. mine was 48
