Due to my 2 Visa's always getting declined, I was able to get a UMW invite and setup an account. Other than the 2.5% fee I have nothing to complain about, it was hassle free and smooth as anyone could ask for, instant deposit after funding UMW account.

I just deposited with WU again. Three weeks ago the fee was $12 and today it was $13.50

Hmm, made my first deposit this morning and it was only $12. Of course I only deposited $100.

I'm from the U.S. and was wondering if there was any other way to make a deposit besides Western Union?

Credit Card is auto declined
Click2Pay doesn't work
Usemywallet requires that I have a first time transaction

I don't want to put in $100 in my account as I just play when I have free time.

can always do netspend or greendot Moneypaks and trade them for funds, they still give you first deposit bonus when u do it also

Not sure if I understood it correctly. So I have to put money in the moneypak card then trade it to someone on the forum? Or is it like a creditcard?

western union seems to be the easiest and most used option as of lately. I'm told you can do it all online and have the money in your account in a matter of minutes.

For sure but there is a 100 min. so for someone who wants to deposit less, like chiildy, he doesn't have an option except player to player.

its a reload card its not an actual CC you give to the other person, you buy the reload card at the store and just trade the number on the back of it for the RPM funds (or watever site).

It's a 5 dollar fee for every reload.

I guess you use the cash transfer button on Merge for WU on-line same as you would if you went down to the store? also doesn't seem like a good idea to keep mentioning the country everyone is sending to. WU could impose some kind of bs verification process.

Use My Wallet. Worked great.. and western union the first time, it worked great as well.

I don't know about you, but when I sent my WU order, it was to buy cigars

Just went allllllll the way to a western union store since no other deposit options work for a US player for me. I just got an email saying the transaction/money wasn't found ughhhh. Now im in this long live chat line trying to get it sorted out. And they just tell me the same thing that was told to me in an email. It took 30 mins to talk to someone when I was number 1 in "line"/

EDIT: Had to go allllllllllll the way back to the western union store to confirm receiver info and it gets DECLINED again. Now I'm 3rd in line expecting a 1.5 wait time.

Seth, anyone help? Depositing has taken 3+ hours of my day.

Blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh life tilt.

It would help to know exactly what you did. The way your post is worded, I can't clearly determine where you made the error in sending the funds.

Couple possibilities here, since you got an e-mail I'm assuming you sent the funds and entered the MTCN and got the e-mail back from RPM with your transaction being declined. Go back over your receipt and make sure you 1. entered the MTCN # correctly, 2. had the money available to pick up in US dollars, not Filipeno pesos. The second option seems to be a hang up for most people depositing with WU for the first time.

When I did this, I simply had to call WU customer service, provide my account info (I've had a Western Union Gold Card for years) and they were able to correct the issue. When my buddy did this (he does not have a WU card but also didn't try too hard with customer service) he had the transfer cancelled, he then had to fill out a receiver form back at WU, got his money back, got new sender info, then resent.

Hope this helps.

Edit x 2 : Now they can't find my SECOND attempt to make a transaction... Cake here I come.

Yeah that was the problem. So I got my money back after driving all the way to the WU again. I resend it and now RPM is just saying they don't have any transaction from me... I'm not doing it a 3rd time.

They are now telling me the name I sent it to doesn't exist(Even though it existed the first time I tried to send them a WU)....

EDIT: NOW they are telling me to send it to another person and pretending like the other name never existed. They want me to drive across town to send it to another person. Lol what. This isn't worth it

Dude, calm down and just pm/skype Seth. I/my degen buddies have dealt with all these issues before in the past few weeks. I think for this scenario we just had to ask Seth to fix the deposit info and he did a manual credit for the amount even though in player history it said the cash transfer deposit was declined.

As an interesting side note, you can only deposit once every 7 days on RPM via cash transfer (WU), but if they manually credit your account, it does not affect the 7 day cd period, so you could technically deposit again later today with the same method. Just saying, lol.

It sounds like you're having difficulty following the instructions. This went super fast and easy for me twice. Just be sure to explicitly say the things in the instructions.

FWIW, you can deposit via WU online and never have to even put on pants. Also, there are very detailed instructions on how to correctly deposit via cash transfer to avoid the exact kind of situation you find yourself in just a few threads below....http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/14...61/index4.html

The first time, I guess you could say it was my mistake. Even though I told the WU agent twice it HAS to be USD and they still make it phillipinnes. The second one they are saying the receiver person doesn't exist.(Which is a lie because I have checked it 100 times and the first failed WU deposit I did they said the name was right, and it's the same one....).
05-09-2011 , 03:46 PM
WU went through within minutes, no issues putting money on there.

I don't mean to be a dick, but you are chatting in with the wrong people over and over. RPM Live Chat has about a 10 second wait and can be found on their home page. If you are waiting more than a few minutes that means you are in the wrong place. RPM Jon will help you out with your deposit pretty easily.

Who is the "they" that are saying stuff? Is it WU or RPM, this is what you need to clear up imo. Also, you can still tell the agent to send in US dollars but if you don't tell them you need the money to be made available to be picked up in US dollars it won't do you any good.

Also, again I'm assuming, that the they in this case would have to be RPM. Most of the times when you have a failed cash transfer transaction you must get new sender info.

FWIW, as Kidsinister mentioned, usually when you need to resend, the information changes, either being the name/location/etc. Instead of taking the time to rant on 2+2 about failed WU transfers, I would contact Live Support and give them the exact details about whats going on here, tell them what you are telling us. Chances are the info. they (RPM) gave you, changed. You probably just need to be given new details and resend, just make sure the WU agent clearly understands it needs to be sent in USD (United States Dollars (Dollhairs)). Goodluck sir. If all else fails, and your not looking for a deposit bonus, 2+2 has many forums where you can trade funds for RPM funds. Just saying.

I sent via WU online last week, the fee was $25 for me, not sure if i did something wrong. I converted to US dollars not leaving it in filipino whatever. Anyway, I forgot that this would probably be like a cash advance on my cc so got knocked another $10.... so $35 in fees for a $300 transfer fail on my part.

But... the good news is, I'm back to playing poker baby! and since I'm a marginal winning player I've already got back the $35, so all profit from here.
