Considering RPM does not have 1k Monday tourney (as others not allowed to us do) or ANY tourney bigger than a $215 (which only runs once a day) why do you feel you need to put on 5k ALL at once? Why not do a 800-1k WU deposit today, and if you burn through it repeat in a couple days? Guess I just don't understand the need. GL to you tho!

Has anyone tried to deposit using WU online? You know, so one wouldn't have to actually go and deal with "people" in the "outside world". lol jk But in all seriousness, that would work just as well as a store, no? I'm not familiar with WU at all so pardon my ignorance if this is a n00b question.

is this true for anyone else? anyone able to contact live support and sign up with UMW and do a 1st time deposit without a previous deposit? also what withdrawal methods are available through UMW?

I made a deposit using WU and 2 days later wanted to make another deposit with WU. I was told I had to wait 7 days to use the same deposit method because my account was new. I was able to deposit with UMW. To get the money on immediately I used my debit card but the fee was 5% plus you lose a little on the exchange rate plus my bank will charge me a fee for a foriegn transaction. If I wanted to wait and have virtually no cost I could have funded UMW via EFT but that takes about a week to hit UMW.

Honestly it's pretty painless. You go to your closest Western Union, fill out an easy to understand form that takes about 2 minutes, hand it to the WU employee along with cash and it's done. They give you a receipt with a MTCN # on it and you enter it on the RPM site and you're playing within minutes. Only thing I told the WU employee was make sure they send the $$$ in U.S. dollars rather than local currency.

Haha yeah that sounds pretty simple. Thanks!

Yes it is simple if WU is not too far away. For me it is a 5 minute walk. As for the fee, the person in front of me purchased 1 pack of cigarettes which cost her just a little bit less.

I did it in the WU store, NOT online. Online didn't verify my address immediately so they said they were going to mail me a pin to verify my address. In the meantime they gave me a 50% off coupon to use at the store.

I never tried online so can't comment if it works.

Support told me you cant get a UMW invite until you have one successful deposit. I had to do WU.

I don't understand how someone with a significant roll on this site is not offering p2p and charging serious vig. I'm willing to transfer $30 on BoA for $25 on RPM and no takers.

You can try the other deposit methods as they might be cheaper but they may/may not work and WU will always work. WU cost $12 on amount under 1k, and on amounts over 1k charges $15/k.

Go to poker site, click deposit, cash transfer, write the amount and click submit/deposit and then from the next page write down the name, city, & country they want you send it to.

It will show a webpage with the instructions and your name filled in and a space for the "MTCN Number"

Leave the webpage up. Go to kroger or whatever place nearest you has western union.

Pick up a "Money Transfer" form (The "send" version)

Fill it out:
Under (1) Sender Information
"send amount in dollars: $" <- [How much to deposit]
"Expected payout location" <- [City, Country of the person you are sending it too, NOT YOUR LOCATION]

Fill out your name, address, & phone number

Check "Money in Minutes" under "(2) Choose a service"

Under "(3) Receiver information:
First Name: [FirstName you were told to send too]
Last Name: [LastName you were told to send too]

Sign the form, [I forgot to ask to make sure it was sent in dollars but it was]

Give the guy $deposit + fee

He will give you a receipt with a MTCN Number on it, buy beer to celebrate, go home, type in MTCN number in the box on web-page and click submit.

BOOM load up poker site and play.

Perfect, thank you.

Just Deposited $500.

Very easy.

Used to play SNG's but I'm guessing traffic for low stakes is slow.. probably will play some cash, feel around a bit.

+1, Really, really sick of spider solitaire.....

Just FYI - Western Union online works fine. Charged my regular bank Visa for the amount. The fee was the same $12 (not $22 as reported above) - took about 10 minutes tops for the whole thing to clear. I was glad too, otherwise it looked like some woman in the Philippines was about to have her lucky day ... Setting up the WU Online account, with emails and verifications, etc., took awhile but once you're set up it should be pretty quick down the road.

Up and running on RPM now. Very simple. Withdrawals ... well, we'll see.

Cheers
