I can't comment for Merge as I am not a representative of the network. However, RPM Poker has not had any inkling thus far that Merge is planning on accepting Australian players starting next month.

Do players need to deposit before the 1st to get in under the old RB system, or is creating an account under a RB affiliate code good enough?

As long as we have confirmed your account is enabled with rakeback, you can deposit after June 1st and still be grandfathered in. Good question!

If you have an active rakeback account on another skin, network rules state that you must have 60 days of inactivity on that other skin before receiving rakeback with RPM Poker.

So, it is impossible for me to get rakeback on RPM since I already have rakeback on another merge skin, and there's no way for me to wait 60 days, when June 1st is only a few weeks away? Just want to clarify. Thx, Seth!

It will suck if I can't get rb on RPM cuz I really prefer to have rb rather than VIP, and I was gonna join RPM, but then decided to try another skin first before trying RPM, but then found out about June 1st, so I was kind of bummed. =/

i have rakeback through rakebacknation. got it about a month ago.. it says i cant get rakeback on rpm if i had another merge affiliate within 60 days. is this rule going to get lifted or am i **** outta luck to try a new skin?

Well, in fairness, we can only speculate since it hasn't been released yet. However, if it is like Stars, it very well may be more +EV for a high volume/stakes player to switch from rb to VIP. For me tho', I'm fairly certain it will not be cuz I am a lower volume/stakes player, so rb is da bomb for me.
