First time I've been happy with the changes to the promotions.

If you had told me the promotions would be improving from February to March these changes would have exceeded my expectations.

I'm extremely pleased with this months promotions.

The quad jack terms do need to be updated unless omaha and tournaments count for the promotion.

yes, I think the .11 superturbos are gonna be pretty busy this month.

RPM only. Each skin has their own promotions.

Keep in mind that there is also now a 500 point requirement along with the 10k hands or 500 tourneys.

So you can do a ton of the $0.11 tourneys to take care of most of the obligation but I don't think they give any points (not sure). Would still need to find a way to get the 500 points also.

im assuming since there is nothing written about it you can hit quad jacks in tournaments as well?

This is only valid in holdem ring games and has been updated in this thread to reflect that. The website promotion page is following suit shortly!

^^^ no points for .11 bumbles, but 10k hands in a day .. should carry the points I think. 500 points = 50 rake for the non-rakeback .. .50/100 .. hands .. NL10 is around 9bb/100 I think that gets you 90c so a mix of NL4 and NL10 should do 50 with the bumbles, but that is a lot of hands I must say.

I know you guys did, it in Jan or so without the 500 tourneys .. but it can be done I'm sure. Worth a ticket, not so sure but have fun.

I'm sure there are some people who aren't happy about the 500 point requirement, but playing 500 tournaments is feasible for me where 10,000 hands was not.

So its a good move in my book even with the 500 point requirement.

The JJ promotion should actually lead to a very slight adjustment in play especially for the lowest stakes players...even though you have such a small chance of hitting.

But still, especially at .02/.04 or something, if you have JJ you just limp or call everything on preflop. If you raise and somehow do not get to a flop then you are losing value. Just something to keep in mind.

You have about a 0.013% chance of getting dealt JJ and then flopping quads. 0.2398% chance of flopping quads once dealt JJ. So, let's look at this in a vaccum. You raise 100% of the time to .12. It's always folded to you or 3bet in which case you always fold. Average 3bet% at $4NL is probably 5-6%. Let's then say you limp/call 100% to try and win the jackpot....
