seriously opting in every month is so ridiculous.

I agree it is rather annoying, but, it does only take a couple minutes or so. I can see though that if they take out the opt-in requirements it can cause the promotions to be weaker due to more players participating. Chances are the site would not be able to afford the promos as they are if it was automatically given to all players. Be careful what you wish for.

This probably sounds sycophantic to some, but I'd be willing to opt-in weekly for these promos. Of course, a button would be easier, but maybe that's the point, as Gunth mentioned.

This. It's not that hard, and I'd rather keep the sweet promos.

This is tantamount to swindling casual and recreational players who are too lazy/stupid to look for themselves. I think its unethical no matter what I personally want.
