Someone verify my math/understand of the promotions this month?

If I play 10k hands/day on the 300point bonus days then I can cash those out at a rate of $20 for every 1k points (I'm level 9), and get $60 bonus on each of those days?

If so... currently I'm a rake back player, so I need to get switched to the VIP system to take advantage of this correct? I just email RPM to get this done?

Thanks!

This. This isnt a rake race at all, its a points race. Discourages rb players from participating and im assuming that many of merge's high volume players are rb players.

Well, if the bumblebees count, then you guys have it even easier. 11 cents x 100 = $11 playing super turbos that take hardly time at all.
Confirmation that any sngs including the bumblebees count toward the 100 tourney promo days?

FYI, rake race say points but it is $$$ raked, so rakeback are same as VIP .. wish it was for points ..

Just to clarify, the leaderboard is displayed based on your total amount raked and not VIP points. This allows both VIP and rakeback players to be credited based on the same amount instead of having rakeback players at a disadvantage.

PLEASE PLEASE do not change anything about these promos. The daily paid rakeback, the 300 vip points per 1k hands, everything is AWESOME with RPM.

Has anyone received their bonus points from Friday's promotion yet?

I have not. Not sure when they're supposed to be credited.

Has anyone received any 300 points? I was supposed to get 300 points from Friday. Have yet to receive it.

These points have not yet been credited. They are pending credit and should be processed by the end of today.

Yeah it is the worst promotion for the week imo. Mainly cause it is all luck to get a seat in the $109 tourney rather than skill.

Just a note that due to the downtime, promotion winnings still have not yet been processed. Don't fret, they're coming.

A note that the pro battle jackpot qualifier will not be running today. We will be posting a tournament to make up for it and notifying all players.

Can you give an eta when the points will be paid?

When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves.

It is known.

All outstanding promotion winnings will finally be processed today. We apologize for the inconvenience. They're coming!

As for the Wheelin' Wednesday promotion, we will be running two separate tournaments next Saturday for all qualifiers from this week and next week. If you did not qualify yesterday due to the software issues, you will have a chance to qualify twice this coming Wednesday.

thanks!

I asked this in another thread, but is there any chance of making up the 300vip point tuesday that we missed by adding a day?

RPM Seth or Jon:

Could you guys explain what exactly happens when a player requests to be switched from RB to the VIP system? I mean, what happens to the previously earned points/levels?

-----

The reason I am asking is because the majority of recent promotions are significantly better for VIP-based micro-stakes players.

Example: At 6max 10NL, my DB shows a rake of approx. $6.65/1k over about 150k hands ~ $1000. Assuming 150k hands takes at least 3 months:

1.RB
RB = $350
VIPs = ~6500 = $65 in $T
VIP-based Bonus = 6.5k/75 = $87
Total = $437-$502 depending on MTT skill ~ $470

2.VIP system
RB = $0
VIPs = 10K -> Level 10 = $50/2k = $250
Bonus = $133
Total = $383

Given such a scenario RB seems to be better, but given this months 300 VIPs/1k playing 10k hands, at 10NL (and you can play lower) nets you:
VIP: 3660 VIPs + 660VIPs/75 = ~$100
RB: $23 + 420VIPs/75 + $T34 = $30-$63 (depending on $T)

=> The monetary difference between RB and VIPs over 3 months can be made up in two 10K days in June, and RPM offers it 3 times/week ~ 13 days total. That's like offering the $109/10k hands every other day, but better because you don't have to play all the way up to 10K and stop whenever you want to, and you get to exchange it for cash and not $T, which really hurt cash game players.

While I do understand that you only get to exchange 6k for $150 per month at L10, but in 2 months you can get $300 in bonus for 40k hands. Even if you don't feel like playing your normal stakes in June, you can just play 4NL while doing browsing the internet and as long as you run better than -15bb/100, you will be in the black from the June bonus alone, not adding any regular VIPs or bonuses released during that time.

Anyways. this is a real killer of a promo, and I hope I made a mistake somewhere, because otherwise it is very difficult to make a case of RB being better in any sort of way in the long run - especially if this promo does not end up being a one time thing.

When switching from RB to the VIP program your VIP points are reset to zero.
